Elizabeth is well prepared and her knowledge of history is exceptional. We enjoyed the tour very much. Only pity it was so very hot but not her fault.. July summer holiday
Professionally prepared and helpful guide. I appreciated the exclusivity of the visit, the location of the aperitif at the end of the visit. Excellent method for enhancing the knowledge of art music.
The places were wonderful. When you choose to rely on a guide, however, it is because you certainly want to listen in addition to observing. The main goal of a guide should be to bring people closer to art, with simple and understandable language. If you want to use elevated language, you can do that, a few words here and there are okay. But this tour featured a narrative stuffed with language that was distant and incomprehensible to many. I am reporting some of the terms used for completeness. - To shine - To stand out - Vegetable tangle - Do you see - On the facing side - Regarding matricity - To dust off a chapter of this basilica - The beauty of the unfinished, an expression dear to Renaissance architecture - Connecting garden - Went by lineage

Great tour, we saw all of the main mosaic sites and the guide was very informative and friendly. I think that if we'd just visited ourselves without the background information and stories, we would have missed out on a lot. Maybe take your own ear phones - we used the free ones but the quality wasn't too good as the dialogue was breaking up at times. We did feel as if the tour was dragged out a bit to reach the three hours but it was still really good and definitely worth doing

Very satisfying experience due to the guide's expertise, the beauty of the places visited, and the length of the guided tour. Furthermore, there were only 4 of us and we really enjoyed the visit in a complete way.

Last night I had the pleasure of participating in the night tour of the mosaics and it was a truly special experience. Artificial light transformed the works of art into something almost mystical, revealing details and colors that go unnoticed during the day. A special thanks to our guide: extremely knowledgeable, capable of making every tile a compelling story. If you are looking for a different way to discover this heritage, I highly recommend booking this evening visit.

This was a good tour, but we did find it hard to hear over the headphones, the echoes, and other tours going on. The tour size was good, and easy to keep together. While this is not the tour guide's fault, it was also very, very hot that day. So, for hot days, I would not recommend it for younger kids or folks over 70. I also wish the tour guide was less dry and had more humor and anecdotes to share.
