Uppsättning av historiska trädgårdar från olika perioder och deras palatsliknande byggnader, några från Nasrid-perioden.
De är bostäderna som de olika sultanerna under Nasridperioden använde för sig själva och sitt hov. Det finns tre huvudområden, oberoende men kopplade till varandra: Mexuar, Palacio de Comares och Palacio de los Leones.
Den äldsta lokalen och därmed den första som byggdes. Denna inhägnad innehöll, förutom att skydda sultanen, en hel miniatyrstad för att hysa den kungliga tjänsten och sultanens vakt.
Det vackraste spanska renässanspalatset byggdes mitt i Alhambra som en symbol för segern för det imperium som besegrade det sista muslimska kungadömet på den iberiska halvön.
Vi får inte missa att besöka Palacio del Partal, som det har fått sitt namn från, och beskåda dammen bredvid den, och Torre de las Damas, de enda resterna som har bevarats av den.

The tour is well worth the time and money. If you get a chance pick Emilo as your guide (English tour). He is not only VERY knowledgeable but paces the tour for all, which important in summer heat.
Worthwhile tour to learn history of the Alhambra. Note the meeting point is in the parking lot, at the bottom of a flight of stairs.
Marta was a great guide and we enjoyed the slow paced friendly walk. We were a small group so plenty of time to chat and take pictures. It was hot but we took breaks and didnt feel rushed at all despite the crowds.

Lots of walking. Almost 5kms. Bring lots of water. Guide was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour.

Excellent, knowledgeable guide, amiable, attentive to needs, open to questions, very pleasant experience. However, we bought tickets in Canada, were charged in American dollars but were not informed of this fact. Annoying, costly and underhanded. Will not use your service again.
