Härifrån organiserar vår Guide entrébiljetten till området, samt Kecak Dance biljett utan lång kö. Guiden eskorterar dig till tempelområdet, delar med sig av lokalkännedomen, visar de bästa fotograferingsplatserna och hjälper dig att ta bilderna. Och det viktigaste, han kommer att skydda dig från de stygga aporna som bor i närheten av templet. Uluwatutemplet erbjuder spektakulär utsikt över klipporna och vetter mot Indiska oceanen. Det är den bästa platsen att se solnedgången i Bali. En annan höjdpunkt är Kecak och Fire Dance, där 70 artister levandegör den förtrollande berättelsen om Rama och Sinta, förstärkt av sina sångramsor och intrikata kostymer. Föreställningen framförs två gånger dagligen, 1:a föreställningen kl. 18.00-19.00 och 2:a föreställningen kl. 19.00-20.00. Välj antingen att titta på showen tillsammans med solnedgången (1:a showen) eller ta den 2:a showen för att njuta av den separat.

Uluwatutemplet – lokalt känt som "Pura Luhur Uluwatu", är ett hisnande bevis på Balis andliga och naturliga prakt. Uppflugen majestätiskt på en 70 meter hög klippa, erbjuder detta ikoniska tempel mer än bara en fantastisk utsikt; det är en port till Balis själ, där tradition, kultur och element sammanstrålar i en kraftfull uppvisning av skönhet och vördnad.
Kecakdansen, en av Balis mest ikoniska föreställningar, inspirerad av den heliga Sanghyangdansen, som utförs för att avvärja negativa andar, anpassade ritualen till en dramatisk berättardans baserad på Ramayana-eposet. Till skillnad från traditionell balinesisk dans använder Kecak Dance inte musikinstrument, utan förlitar sig helt på synkroniserat sjungande av en stor manlig refräng, vilket producerar det berömda "cak-cak-cak"-ljudet.

Spectacular evening!. Our guide, Made Wena met us in front of the gate and made our check in faster and easier. He showed us the temple and surroundings area before the Kecak dance started. He also pointed us the best seats to watch the show. Really recommended!

Our guide Budi was brilliant. He made sure we didn’t lose any personal items to the monkeys and came prepared with little bananas to feed them. He also provided a good insight into the temple and its history and advised the best ways to get in and out of the performance venue as it was really busy. The show was amazing and we were thoroughly entertained. All-in-all a great evening out.

Huge thanks to our guide, Darma, for making this a memorable experience for us. Everything as said in the booking details were promptly delivered. We went as a family with an 8 yo and Darma took good care so that our kid doesn’t get scared of the monkeys. Guess we wouldn’t have enjoyed the visit if we had gone by ourselves because of the free-roaming monkeys in the temple. Highly recommend this guided tour.
