Susan was an amazing guide! This tour was much more than I expected! She made sure we saw everything there was to see. She educated us on so many things about the history of Mt. Rainer, the adjacent volcanoes, the flowers, trees, and animals. This is an all day experience and Susan made it worth it!
It was awesome tour! It's small group of 8 people. Our guide Susan is very thoughtful and patient. She provide water and hike stick for us which is very helpful. It takes about 2.5 hours from downtown Seattle and 2 hours come back. She stops at grocery shop so we can buy food on the way to mountain Rainier. We had picnic when we almost at top. The view along the hike side is terrific. It tools about 2.5 to 3 hours from visitor center to tip and back down. We also saw some other famous points like big waterfall and 1200 years old tree, etc. I highly recommend people to book this trip, it's absolutely worthy it.
Our guide Susan was amazing. We stopped at a grocery store to buy lunch and snacks for the day. Headed to the mountain. Spent a couple hours hiking and stopping for photos and lunch. Then there were stops for waterfalls and tall trees. This is an 11 to 12 hour day. You go to about 6000 feet and you are climbing a mountain. Be prepared. The terrain is not always easy. Overall a lovely day and some breathtaking sites!
So much fun! Our guide (Susan) was awesome. Glaciers, wildflowers, waterfalls, old growth forest. This hike had it all
The tour itself was very enjoyable. I wouldn’t have known to stop at all the places that we did on my own, even with AI help. Our guide Susan was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The Skyline loop up to meadows at Paradise was one of the prettiest hikes you can do on Rainer. It is difficult for those out of shape or unable to walk up a long steep incline and a few within our group did not make it. Before and after we stopped at gorgeous Falls, Susan showed us the best angle for pictures, and the lakes and old growth forest we could have spent hours at. The bad: a cramped, very smelly, dirty bus packed like sardines with strangers that don’t all have the same cleanliness standards. (Deodorant please!) I think there was some equipment in the bus that also needed a thorough cleaning along with the bus floors and seats. Plus the AC did not work well at all so think twice about the 2+ hour drive with strangers in these conditions. If it would have been on a clean charter bus with a seat or two available for the equipment and packs with working AC it would have felt first class and five stars. We’re we glad we did it - YES, would we do it again on that bus, NO. Parking on your own could be difficult - the bus parking helps. Finally, you WILL NOT have cell service in much of the park so knowing where you are going or having OG maps is a must if you don’t do this tour. That bumps the overall experience up from 3 stars to 4 stars for the guidance (and knowing where to stop or slow on hair pin turns within the park).
Susan had great knowledge of the area! We saw mt rainier peak from many different view points. We went on a easy-medium hike, and it was chill and pretty.
Susan is friendly and knowledgeable. We got rained on but the adventure doesn't stop. Appreciate the wonderful time exploring Mt Rainier.
Our trip with Susan on WOW Nature trails was wonderful. Despite our tour being on a foggy/ drizzly day, the tour was beautiful and well worth the time and money. Susan was a great tour guide and the group was the perfect size (14 people). Me and 16 year old son loved the views and will definitely be coming back to Rainier again. Thank you Susan for a wonderful trip
This was a great way to experience Mount Rainier!
