Denna turné låter dig se mer än 40 000 lokala hantverkare i souks i Marrakech. Du kommer att upptäcka underverken av de marockanska kryddorna och traditionerna som har använts internationellt och även av marockaner i hundratals år. Guiden visar dig hur traditionella mattor tillverkas för hand av naturliga färger, och du kan också se hur koppar, trä och andra originalföremål tillverkas i soukerna. Guiden kommer att se till att du är bekväm och njuter av ditt besök.

Vi börjar med att besöka lokala hantverkares verkstäder (lädervaror, smeder, snickare, färgare, etc. och många andra). Vi kommer att besöka några av de bästa utställningslokalerna, basarerna och butikerna för att upptäcka de bästa produkterna från vårt hantverk, som man inte kan hitta vid första anblicken! Från möbler till smycken, lampor, accessoarer, mattor och kaftan... allt finns i denna unika turné!
Färgarnas souk ligger i medinan, nära källan Mouassine och moskén med samma namn, i den västra halvan av härvan av gator. Även om denna souk förlorade sin aktivitet för flera år sedan med den ökande användningen av industriella färgämnen, kan du fortfarande se några små verkstäder där traditionell färgning fortfarande praktiseras.
Souk Semmarine anses vara huvudartären för soukerna i Medina och är tillgänglig från Place Jemaa El Fna, i en derb (medinagränd) med samma namn. Ett namn som det tar från hovslagarna som en gång ockuperade denna strategiska plats för att sko husvagnarnas djur, medan de senare gjorde sin vanliga shopping. Idag är Souk Semmarine en mycket färgstark shoppinggata där du främst kan hitta handlare av tyger, souvenirer, hantverk men också unika adresser för marockanska antikviteter. Den representerar ingången till de specialiserade soukerna: kryddor, mattor, tyger, tofflor... En veritabel Ali Babas grotta.

We had an absolutely wonderful tour of Marrakesh, made truly special by our fantastic guide, Amid. From the moment we met, his knowledge, professionalism, and friendly approach made us feel comfortable and welcome. Amid found us at the meeting point and it was just the two of of us on this booking. It was a wet day so we got under cover in the souk. Amid shared a lot of interesting information about Morocco, Marrakesh, the souk and the artisans. Plenty of history and how that has shaped Marrakesh today. There were various stops at different shops of good quality. Friendly selling, tea along the way, but no pressure to buy. A great way to familiarise yourself with the various areas of the souk and assistance in getting a better deal if you are keen to make a purchase. If you want to see more artisans in action it would be good to go on a morning tour

Our Marrakech experience with Amid The day was full of excitement...Amid had given us a thorough tour to the places we want to go like the Souk of Medina, Jemaa El- Fnaa and many more...he was so patient and kind and very accommodating to answer the questions about the place. The history and the buildings are art itself. I even take notes of the history he had discussed about the place in Marrakech. He brought us to places that we can buy original and genuine products from Morroco, leathers and teapots, herbs and beauty products, as well as the recommended Hammam scrub 🤣 an unforgettable experience. We were glad our riad recommended Amid as our private tour guide. We're in Marrakech for a short visit on the weekend to celebrate me and my friends 50th 🎂! Instantly you get a connection with Amid like your friend a long time ago. He puts us at ease straight away. He was very patient, very kind, very helpful always always offered us to carry our shopping bags. He also has a vast amount of knowledge regarding his city and Our tour lasted more than half a day. Amid will go beyond his limits! He brought us to different areas of souks like food section, leather areas, jewellery, and decorations. We learned a lot about Moroccan history and culture. We visited Bahia Palace ,Medina souks, Medersa Ben Youssef, and Jemma el-Fnaa.
