Guidad skogsvandring till Seattle vattenfall inkl. Snoqualmie Falls

Denna tur är unik i det att du vandrar (lagom nivå med några 8 minuters lutning) i gammelskog längs Snoqualmie River i ett par timmar för att se en underbar kaskad av fall, Twin Falls. Leden är 3 miles totalt. Sedan följde en annan vacker fall som vi kör till - den berömda 270 - fot höga Snoqualmie Falls. Du ser också en vacker sjö med utsikt över de omgivande bergen ofta speglas i sjön. Det finns massor av mångfald på denna halvdagstur från Seattle.

Vi kör sedan till de majestätiska Snoqualmie Falls som är 270 fot höga och ser fallen från några plattformar följt av att köra genom Snoqualmie stad med den extravaganta gamla depån från 1890 och historiska lok. Innan vi återvänder till Seattle stannar vi till vid Borst Lake, där Mount Si ofta reflekteras.
Denna halvdagstur är en kombination av en 2-timmars måttlig vandring (några lutningar i cirka fem minuter åt gången) till Twin Falls och ett besök i en gammal skogsstad, Snoqualmie med dess berömda Snoqualmie Falls i närheten. Jag hämtar dig i centrala Seattle och kör österut i cirka 30 minuter tills vi kommer fram till stigen i Olallie State Park. Vi kommer att vandra i gammal skog längs Snoqualmie Lower River till Twin Falls och Upper Falls, som är en vacker kaskad av vattenfall. Efter vandringen kör vi genom North Bend, där matstället från det populära tv-programmet "Twin Peaks" finns, till den gamla historiska skogsstaden Snoqualmie.
Plocka upp och släppa av är i centrum av centrala Seattle.
Alternativt kan du plocka upp och släppa av nära Space Needle, om det behövs.
Vi kör genom den gamla historiska avverkningsstaden Snoqualmie där många gamla ångmaskiner lämnas kvar på tågspåren.
Vi kör på den stora flytande bron över Lake Washington på väg till fallen.
Vi kör genom skogsavverkningsstaden North Bend där den populära TV-serien Twin Peaks filmades på 1990-talet.

Changed travel time. Poor driving skills. Some passengers had to get off because trip was overbooked.
My apologies that you we had to change the travel time - we did check in beforehand to see if it worked for everyone. The tour was overbooked by one person which was not realized till the day off due to a miscount, which will not happen again. Fortunately, a guest volunteered to go on another day. I will check in with the tour guide from that tour about the driving skills - he is an experienced driver and I have not had any complaints before.
we had a large group of family and friends with varying ages and levels of capability and Ty was very accommodating to all. It was a great experience, beautiful hike and amazing waterfall, but he was what made the trip great for us.!
John was a great guide! The air conditioning in the van could have been a little better though. We were sweaty! Hike was beautiful but definitely on the hard side of moderate.
John was an extraordinary guide, and a wealth of information. He helped everyone get great photos throughout the hike and tour.

Anthony was our tour guide. Our 4 person group joined a total of 8 other people and all were at different activity level abilities. He was constantly checking in with the front of the group and ensured that the ones in the back were also doing well. The hike had beautiful trees and waterfalls; it was not crowded and we had great weather. It was also a nice drive through the town of the other falls.
It was a wonderful experience. We had never done anything like this before. So at first we were a little worried that it could be some kind of a scam, but once we met our tour guide, everything just got better and better. Calling the number available for questions was helpful. The tour guide was really kind and took great care of everyone in the group. Making sure everyone was ok throughout the hike from start to finish. He even gave us a Mandarin and water bottle.
This hike was a bit more difficult than we were expecting. My wife and I are in our mid-50’s and in decent shape but we struggled at times. We were with a group of people that were 20-30 years younger so that may have been part of our problem. We just couldn’t keep up with their pace. Anthony, our tour guide was excellent. He made sure to check on us often as we, along with a couple of girls in their 20’s, were the back of the pack. Despite the pace challenges, the hike and tour were great. Remember you’re essentially in a rainforest so expect slick rocks, puddles and some mud. We had light rain for most of our hike but we had water proof hiking shoes, which I would highly recommend because we had no traction issues. We also had light rain jackets that we wore and shed along the way. Overall, it was a great experience. The views and sounds of nature were spectacular.
Experienced hiker but was solo this trip and this was an excellent and safe way to get a hike and enjoy the company of others!
I met the tour at the pick up spot in downtown Seattle. Our first stop was Olallie park to see the Twin Falls waterfall and it is a hike! We did quite a bit of incline walking. I'm not used to walking inclines at what I considered a fast pace, (Michigan is much flatter) so it was a bit more challenging for me. We walked through the old growth forest, which is absolutely beautiful. Seeing the waterfall was definitely worth the climb. I did go at a bit slower pace and the tour guide was patient with me. I appreciated his efforts helping me as I was traveling solo. There were a couple of others on the tour, though that I felt were also getting tired at the end of the walk. We did a quick drive though the city of the Twin Peaks TV show. It wasn't a stop, just a quick drive through to the next stop Snoqualmie Falls, another beautiful waterfall, but without the hike, just a short walk to a viewing platform. Overall, I enjoyed the tour. The old growth forest and waterfalls were amazing. The tour took exactly 4 hours. I personally enjoy a slower pace on a vacation, but still a good time.
