Ta denna intressanta tur i det före detta KGB-fängelset med professionell engelsk- och norsktalande guide. Under turen kommer du att kunna besöka: det tidigare KGB-fängelset, avrättningskammaren, moderna utställningar om motståndsrörelsen och deportationer med mera. Guidningen varar ca 1 timme, men efter visningen kan du stanna kvar i museet för att titta på bilder och utställning om utvisningar, KGB, motståndsrörelsen i Litauen. Inträdesbiljett till museet ingår inte i turnépriset (6EUR per person).

Museet inrättades i den tidigare KGB-byggnaden, där sovjetregimens brott planerades och avrättades i femtio år. Besökare kan besöka: det tidigare KGB-fängelset, lokalerna där dödsdomar verkställdes, moderna utställningar som berättar om förlusten av självständighet i mitten av 1900-talet, förtryck av sovjetiska myndigheter och den självuppoffrande och ihärdiga kampen för självständighet. Vi kommer att gå i det tidigare fängelset där politiska fångar hölls och torterades. Du kommer att se var och hur de dödades. En kammare på 19 är tillägnad den judiska förintelsen, eftersom byggnaden 1941-1944 användes som det tyska Gestapo- och SD-högkvarteret och ett fängelse, baracker av Sonderkommando i staden Vilnius, som dödade judar och andra. I september 2018 avslutade påven Franciskus sitt besök i Litauen på KGB-museet och bad för sovjetregimens offer i Litauen. Priset för biljetterna 6EUR ingår inte i turnépriset.

Reminded me of the struggles for Lithuanian independence which has made them vigilant in protecting their dignity and culture. There is a strong sense of pride and conservatism in Vilnius, an atmosphere of strength and resilience.
Perfect, wonderful, 100% real, mostly because the KGB conducted its operations in this very building, with the cells in the basement. An essential visit if you visit Vilnius

I recommend this visit, which is necessary, which allows us to know more about this part of history. The signs are well made. Nevertheless, the welcome of professionals is not pleasant...
We had a very good and informative guiding,- our guide Dorma had very good knowledge about everything at the museum and the history of Lithuania. We spent nearly two hours together and this was really excellent!!.
If you are in Vilnius carve out an hour to visit this museum which is semi-centrally located in a beautiful building just behind Gedimino prospekt. You will see the cells used to imprison Lithuanian patriots, the execution room, maps and period documents as well as very detailed historical descriptions. 6 euros well spent Visited Sunday, 20 October 2024 morning
immersive visit to the time of the KGB (small part on the Nazi occupation), we wander through the dungeons etc... very impressive.
We had a wonderful guided tour with Lukas in Vilnius. He knows his history and arranged most things for us. Very positive and nice guy. Highly recommended 😊
Excellent tour. I highly recommend. Fascinating content and history telling. Lucas was very passionate and knowledgeable, which made his explanations about the awful history of KGB very fascinating. Both myself and my daughter really enjoyed it. 5 stars!
Extensive material that depicts life during the Russian occupation, the road to liberation of Lithuania and the horrors of deportation. The KGB prison is very moving and definitely not for the faint hearted
