Det kungliga palatset i Caserta har verkligen revolutionerat arkitekturens värld, tack vare Luigi Vanvitellis geni som byggde det på 1700-talet. Residenset byggdes på uppdrag av kung Charles av Bourbon som det nya administrativa centrumet för kungariket Neapel, med Palace of Versailles som förebild. Den guidade turen startar från den nya lägenheten, inuti vilken är det imponerande tronrummet där kungen tog emot delegationer och ambassadörer; fortsätt i den gamla lägenheten, bebodd av Ferdinando IV och Maria Carolina, med sina många rum fresker av hovkonstnärerna. På begäran är det möjligt att förlänga turen med ett besök i parken, för att beundra de vackra fontänerna i den italienska trädgården och det romantiska landskapet i den engelska trädgården.

The 24 th of October 2025, me and my husband had a wonderful experience visiting the Royal Palace of Caserta. At first, we had not a lot of informations about this castle, but our excelent guide Alessia made the visit amazing. A good english speaker, with a large historical and cultural knowledge, with enthusiasm and joy she “drived “ us in the interior of the Palace and in the magnificent Italian Garden and English Garden, creating for us wonderful memories of Caserta. She is dedicated to her job and we’d like to meet her again in an other trip. Thank you, Alessia and all the best for you !

We did, in 12 of which 5 guys, a two-hour tour of the Royal Palace of Caserta. Two o'clock now allows the visit of only the important rooms of the palace, and filling them with dates, names and numbers, would be very easy. Ilaria managed to make the tour "intriguing" and interesting for the boys, with small details of gossip and a tone always fascinating and fascinating that allowed the boys to identify with the stories without getting bored, as if they were participating in a long story in which they were immersed.
