Vi hämtar på ditt hotell eller airbnb. Monet bosatte sig i Giverny 1883. Han förvandlade en övergiven domän till en juvel av blommor, inspiration till sina målningar. De täta besöken av hans vänner och beundrare gjorde Giverny till centrum för hans tillvaro. Fram till sin död 1926 lämnade målaren, fadern, trädgårdsmästaren och mannen aldrig Giverny. Under denna turné besöker vi även den medeltida kyrkan Giverny (XI-talet), Claude Monet är begravd på kyrkans kyrkogård. Vi passerar Vétheuil där Monet också bodde och ett stopp vid troglodytkyrkan Haute isle i närheten (grävd i Seinedalens klippa) är också möjligt.

Dario While my husband & I were in Paris we visited Monet’s Garden & Versailles. We were lucky enough to get assigned to a tour guide named Dario who really knew his stuff. Dario gave us all the facts & stories we needed to know in order to tour the 2 aforementioned Parisian landmarks. I have a mobility disability; I use a cane. Dario found us elevators to use so I didn’t have to negotiate stairs. He was very patient with my slow walking. He was always there to help me avoid difficult situations. In our opinion Dario is supremely capable at his job. He really enhanced the experience for us.
The guide was polite and prompt picking us up at hotel. His knowledge of Monet minimum at best. He knew nothing of art and less about horticulture and gardening.. he was actually reading info on Monet through Google as we asked questions x I am frequent via tot customer and would like my 1096.00. Back. This was reductions
As with a separate tour, we really benefitted from our local guide. He provided historical context, even taking us to the village of Vetheuil to see the church where Monet worshipped. The museum grounds at Giverny are a bit confusing to navigate- again, kudos to our guide.
