Fatehpur Sikri är en liten stad i norra Indien, väster om Agra, grundad av en Mughal-kejsare från 1500-talet. Röda sandstenbyggnader kluster på dess mitt. Buland Darwaza gate är ingången till Jama Masjid-moskén. I närheten ligger Salim Chishtis marmorgrav. Diwan-E-Khas-hallen har en snidad central pelare. Jodha Bais Palace är en blandning av hinduiska och Mughal-stilar bredvid den 5 våningar Panch Mahal som har utsikt över platsen.
Buland Darwaza, eller "Segerns dörr", byggdes 1575 e.Kr. av Mughal-kejsaren Akbar för att fira hans seger över Gujarat. Det är huvudentrén till Jama Masjid vid Fatehpur Sikri, som ligger 43 km från Agra, Indien. Buland Darwaza är den högsta porten i världen och är ett exempel på Mughal-arkitektur.
Panch Mahal är ett palats i Fatehpur Sikri, Uttar Pradesh, Indien. Panch Mahal som betyder "Fem level Palace" beställdes av Akbar. Denna struktur står nära Zenana-kvarteren vilket stöder antagandet att det användes för underhållning och avkoppling.

I booked the Guided Fatehpur Sikri & Abhaneri Tour from Agra to Jaipur by car with Unseen India Tours & Activities in December 2025, and I did this one completely solo — which honestly made the experience even more special. The day began with a smooth pickup from Agra. Traveling alone can sometimes feel uncertain, but everything was handled so professionally that I felt comfortable from the very start. The car was clean and well-maintained, the driver was courteous, and the winter weather in December was perfect — cool, crisp, and ideal for sightseeing. The first stop at Fatehpur Sikri was incredible. Exploring the vast Mughal complex at my own pace felt peaceful and immersive. Standing in front of the majestic Buland Darwaza was a surreal moment — its sheer scale and architectural beauty are even more striking in person. The guide shared fascinating historical context about Emperor Akbar and the vision behind the city, but also gave me space to walk around, take photos, and simply absorb the atmosphere. On the way to Jaipur, we stopped at Chand Baori in Abhaneri. Seeing the stepwell in real life was breathtaking. The geometric precision of the steps creates a dramatic visual effect that feels almost unreal. Being there solo made it feel even more reflective — quiet, architectural beauty surrounded by calm winter air. What I appreciated most about booking with Unseen India Tours & Activities was how safe and seamless the entire journey felt as a solo traveler. The timing was well managed, there was no rush, and the drive between destinations was smooth and comfortable. Instead of just transferring cities, I felt like I experienced history, architecture, and culture in a very personal way. By the time I reached Jaipur, the journey felt fulfilling rather than tiring. I would highly recommend this tour, especially for solo travelers who want a safe, well-organized, and culturally enriching experience between Agra and Jaipur.

The driver was excellent and very attentive. Smooth journey and driving. The guide at Fatehpur Sikri was very informative and welcoming. Great way to see the sites and commute.
Fatehpur Sikri was in our travel bucket and we were very keen to visit this beautiful monument and we booked this tour. To be honest this tour was the best so far as everything was well managed may it be the guides, entry fee or transfers. Learnt a lot about the monument in detail. Abhaneri step wells are just amazing. Overall a great tour

We had a great time on this Tour as Fatehpur Sikri and Abhaneri Step Wells are two happening places and worth visiting. We booked this tour especially to explore the sites and it was worth.it. Pick up was smooth and Driver and guide both were pefect and know their jobs. We learnt a lot about the history of the Site and it was amazing. Since Our tickets, meals were included so we have had a great time . Overall a great day and value for money.

It was a great tour of Fatehpur Sikri and Abhaneri step wells with dedicated Guide and super nice car and driver. We had such a beautiful day that can't be described in words. Everything was well planned and managed and we learnt a lot about the history. Pick up was smooth and everything was well planned.

We went to Agra in a wedding on our way back we wanted to cover Fatehpur Sikri and we looked for such option and found this tour and it turned out to be very positive. Pick up was smooth and driver and car both were very positive. Guide at Sikri was amazing and . handled our requests nicely. It is a lovely site and must watch.. Lunch provided was upto the expectations. Would definitely recommend and value for money

Perfect transfer from Agra to Jaipur with stop at Fatehpur Sikri and Abhaneri Step Wells . Pick up was smooth and Fatehpur is an excellent historical monument with so many stories.Step Wells are unique. Driver was cooperative
It was a great day from Agra to Jaipur with stop over at Fatehpur Sikri which is an amazing site to visit, Jodha Mahal, Buland Darwaza were just awesome. Lunch was very tasty and worth. Stepwell is a must see
