En hel dagstur till Khor Virap, Noravank Monastery och Areni Winery. Under turen får du möjlighet att ha en magnifik utsikt över den bibliska berget Ararat. Upptäck Noravanks historia och smaka på armeniskt vin i vinfabriken. Turnén börjar från 09:00. Vi informerar dig om den exakta tiden om vi har turister från flera hotell. Första platsen blir Khor Virap, som ligger cirka en timmes bilresa från Jerevan. Det erbjuder en fantastisk utsikt över Mount Ararat och Sis. Du kan ta vackra bilder från närmaste punkt till Araratfjällen från Armenien. Sedan fortsätter vi vägen till Noravank kloster. I Noravank kommer vi att besöka kyrkorna St. Karapet, St. Grigory Illuminator och St. Astvatsatsin. Vi kommer att få stopp i en lokal restaurang för lunch. (Priset för lunch ingår inte i priset) Efter lunch fortsätter vi fram till Areni Winery, där du kan se den armeniska vinproduktionen och smaka på den. Senare återkommer vi till Jerevan

Klostret är där Sankt Gregorius Illuminatören fängslades i 13 år i en djup underjordisk fängelsehåla (Khor Virap betyder "djup grop" på armeniska). Khor Virap erbjuder en av de bästa och närmaste utsikterna över det legendariska berget Ararat, Armeniens nationalsymbol.
Noravank ligger inbäddat i en smal, röd kalkstensklyfta och erbjuder fantastisk utsikt över oländiga klippor och natur. Noravank var det andliga och kulturella centret för den orbelianska dynastin, med flera kungliga gravar inuti.
Vinresa och vinprovning
Arkeologer upptäckte en 6 100 år gammal vinproduktionsanläggning, inklusive jäsningskärl, druvpressar och förvaringsburkar. I grottan hittades en välbevarad lädersko som daterades till 3500 f.Kr., vilket gör den till den äldsta kända läderskon i världen.

I had an interesting day in Armenia. Saw a lot of historical places and the tour ended with an amazing wine degustation. Our tour guide Nektar was very helpful and talked history about the places that we visited and about Armenia generally.:)

The places are beautiful, close to the capital, the route is optimized to see each stage calmly. Both the monasteries and the cave are very interesting as well as well maintained. I made several tours and enjoyed this one a lot! Yes the sites are definitely worth visiting!! But also the service, the company is fantastic! We were a small group. We were not overloaded with irrelevant information. But we got the most important and all questions were happily answered. We got the time we needed and felt free to explore, but same time everything was perfectly organised. The overall atmosphere was more familiar, Arsen is a really friendly guide and I would have done more tours if I would have not done others before. This was my last one in Armenia and the best!! Highly recommendable!! Thank you so much Arsen and hopefully see again!
