Viator does an amazing job on the packages they put together, I’ve used 4 so far before this one and they have each been amazing. The catacombs of San Callisto is probably my actual fruatration, I think and not the services provided. A driver picked us up at our hotel and shuttled us to the catacombs, and waited for us to return. The vehicle he picked us up in was beautifully maintained and he was very kind. I am a Christian history buff and other folks may have a different desire from this tour. My experience was that the tour left me wanting. I think the entire thing was 25 minutes from beginning to end, and my history itch was barely scratched. Our tour guide seemed knowledgeable enough, but I could hear the groups coming up behind ours, and the groups ahead of us, and so I’m sure the tour was a highly time managed activity. That said, 25 or so minutes to speak about something so reverent and such a part of Christian history didn’t do it for me. I wouldn’t recommend this tour, though Viator’s service was (as always in my experience) impeccable.

We took part in the tour of the Catacombs of San Callisto with Rome Tour, and it was a fascinating and well organized experience. The manager Marco, handled everything impeccably, ensuring a punctual and professional service. Our guide, Stefano, was outstanding:knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about sharing the history of these ancient Christian catacombs. The tour led us through the eerie underground tunnels, showing us the tombs of martyrs, ancient Christian symbols, and telling us intriguing stories about the lives of early persecuted Christians. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore a less touristy b and spiritual side of Rome. A big thank you to Stefano for his excellent guidance and to Marco for the great assistance.

The description of this tour is very misleading. The actual tour was outstanding and very informative, but you are simply paying for transportation. The entry fee (EUR10 per person) was covered, but that's the extent of the "Rome Tour Srls' involvement. The operator is not the "guided tour provider" as the description of "what's included" implies. The driver was nice and picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off at our next tour, but honestly, we could have taken a taxis and saved $230!! Take my advice, don't book this through the provider; arrange transportation and purchase your tickets at the entry point of the tour.

I truly enjoyed this tour. Catacombs are unique experience and i would definitely recommend. Learning about first Christian believers and history was an amazing experience.

e had a great time on our catacomb tour with Carlo! He was so nice and funny, he really made it a greate experience, e had a great way of telling stories and I have to say probably the most enjoyable tour we have been on during our holidays in Italy! I highly recommend this tour to everyone!

This tour was not one of our priorities but as Mira suggested it, we decided to take it and as a suprise it was a highlight of out trip to Rome. An interesting and very enjoyable visit. The guide Marco touched us was very nice and explained everything about first Christian graves in a very funny way. Thanks Rome Tour i will raccomand You to all my friends!

Tour done well, the guide very prepared. I liked the part that talked about the origins of the catacombs, how they were dug etc.
