The tour was thorough and very enjoyable. The tourguide, John, was excellent. He had a wealth of info about the canyon that he shared with us. Due to the of-season, my wife and I were his only guests, and he was very good to us. He bought us lunch although not obligated to do so. He gave us a detailed explanation of the rock formations in the canyon, whihc we really appreciated.
The guide, Linda, did a good job. However, the van needs to be replaced. It rattles very loudly and we had a hard time hearing. She needed a microphone to assist her so we could all hear in the back. The van has seen it’s better day.
Guide very good. No microphone so we could not hear the conversation while driving. Van raddle alot so was noisey. Hard getting in and out of the 3rd row. Lots of conservative by the driver and the front passenger seat not heard by us.
Book a tour so that way you will learn more about the place you are visiting. Tour guides are knowledgeable.

Fantastic Tour. Our tour guide John was incredibly knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon and personable. We were able to stop at many points of interest and experience the magnificent views. John explained the various rock formations and the Mineral Composition in the rocks. We highly recommend the VIATOR tour company and be sure to ask for John.

the guide was very knowledgeable and brought to the right places, however he also felt it important to let us know how he felt about the administration and Trump. We paid for a tour not a lecture how he felt our president was the sole reason the earth was burning down. he talked about the fires in the forest and the brush that hadn't been cleaned out because Trump thought it was more important to spend 25 billion on a war instead of 10 million on cleaning the forest. what he didn't explain was that the brush in the forest has been there a lot longer than Trump has been president and it had nothing to do with the tour.

Jake was a terrific guide. He was knowledgeable about all aspects of the Grand Canyon and the local environment. Every place he took us to had an amazing view and Jake provided a great commentary as well as a few great stories. Best way to see the Grand Canyon!

This was an excellent way to experience the Grand Canyon without the hassle of driving! Jake was an amazing tour guide. He knew so much about everything we saw, and had handouts identifying animals, birds, and rocks that we might see (and how those rocks were formed). We made 6 stops at various scenic spots and he had the history of each place, showing us where to look for the highlights. It was a wonderful day! Ask for Jake if you’re taking this tour!
