Golf Cart Tour Rome Original sedan 2005

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Angel Tours on our recent trip to Rome. We booked a private 3-hour golf cart tour and it was hands down one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning, communication with the company owners was excellent—clear, prompt and really helpful when planning our tour. Everything was seamless. On the day, our guide Flavio, a native Roman, met us directly from our cruise transfer bus, which made things so easy and stress-free. Flavio was outstanding. His knowledge of Rome was incredible and he had a brilliant way of tailoring the tour to suit everyone in our group- adults, teenagers, a 10 year old child and my mum in her seventies. He struck the perfect balance between informative and engaging, with plenty of funny anecdotes along the way. The golf cart was the perfect way to see the city, especially in temperatures in the mid-thirties. We were able to cover so much ground comfortably while still taking in all the sights. What really stood out was how accommodating Flavio was—at the end of the tour, he went out of his way to drop us at a great spot where we could enjoy pizza and easily hop on the metro back to our cruise transfer as we had a couple of hours to spare. It made the whole experience feel effortless and relaxed. We couldn’t recommend Angel Tours and our guide Flavio highly enough. A truly 5-star experience from start to finish!

Before I mention about the tour itself, I’d like to give a shout out to Angela. She helped guide me prior to our family trip and was very communicative. Every email response was sent with care and within less than 24 hrs(especially taking into account the 6 hr time difference here in the states(Florida). This tour was amazing! We were referred to Angel Tours, by a colleague and very happy that we chose this company. Our tour guide Daniele was magnificent! Not only did we learn so much about Roman past and present, we learned quickly he was passionate about Roman history. In the new age of phones and google, it is still nice to know people have the interest and fascination with the city of Rome. It was evident in Daniele’s voice and tour presentation. The golf cart tour we did with Sean and Gio was a highlight of our trip and the absolute best way to see the highlights of Rome. Our pick up was seamless and the guides went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. We also ended up booking a walking tour in Venice through them, which was fantastic as well. We had 4 adults, and children aged 9-16 and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. I definitely recommend that you make this the first thing you do upon arriving in Rome because you are able to hit many of the highlights that would take a full day doing on your own.

We would like to express how much we truly enjoyed our tours with both Daniele (Golf Cart Tour) and Salim (Colosseum Tour). Both guides were an absolute pleasure to spend time with—fun, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. Daniele showed us all of Rome’s most iconic landmarks, sharing not only fascinating historical facts but also captivating and entertaining stories about each site. His passion for Rome and its history was unmistakable, and we were amazed by the depth of his knowledge. He even introduced us to a few hidden gems that we never would have discovered on our own, and they were some of the highlights of our trip. When he learned that we had just finished a Vatican tour before joining his, he thoughtfully suggested stopping at a wonderful local pizza place so we could grab a quick bite to eat. It was exactly what we needed and such a kind gesture. Daniele made the entire experience fun, energetic, and unforgettable. Salim was equally fun, energetic, and knowledgeable during our Colosseum and Roman Forum tour. He had a great sense of what to focus on and what to skip, allowing us to get the most out of our time. His stories and historical insights were both educational and entertaining, making the ancient sites come alive. I am a Type 1 insulin-dependent diabetic, and after a very active day, I experienced a low blood sugar episode during the tour. Salim immediately asked how he could help and guided my adult daughter to the nearest place where she could quickly get something with sugar. Thanks to his genuine concern, I was able to recover and continue enjoying the rest of the tour. His kindness and care meant more than I can express. He is truly a gentleman with a beautiful soul. I have visited Rome several times and have seen many of these landmarks before, but this was my daughter’s first visit. Thanks to both Daniele and Salim, this was without a doubt my best trip to Rome yet. I learned so many new things, laughed often, and came away with an even deeper appreciation for this incredible city. Thank you both for making our visit so memorable. We absolutely love Rome, and your passion, knowledge, and kindness made our experience truly exceptional.

Angel Golf cart Tours was the best way to see all the main sights of Rome. We were a party of 9 and so did 2 carts and our guides kept us travelling together the whole tour. Our guides Riccardo & Daniele were wonderful! Very informative with their knowledge but loads of fun! We had 3 generations travelling and all were kept entertained. They even went out of their way to stop for my 82 yo parents so they could purchase a suitcase that broke on the way over from Australia. Thank you for a brilliant day Riccardo & Daniele!!

Such a great tour and knowledgeable guide! Riccardo is an enthusiastic story-teller and we learned so much about Rome in those few hours. Our favorite story was about the Swedish Queen and the elusive cannonball. Valeria was a great driver and guide as well. Our family of 8 had a blast and we’d highly recommend.

The minute I contacted Angel Tours and spoke to Angela I was made to feel extremely confident in my trip to Rome. As a family of five, our youngest child only 4 years old, I was worried about dragging the kids around Rome and the heat. Angela and Sean put my mind at ease immediately. The tour guide Daniele was amazing. He was extremely patient with all the questions my 11 year old put to him and he showed us beautiful churches and the amazing sites of Rome. He went all out bringing us to a lovely restaurant after the tour and organising with our taxi where to pick us up. As a result we had the most wondeful, relaxed experience of Rome. I really cant say how grateful I am for this experience and I would highly recommend Angel Tours to everyone. They were just unbelievable in how much they looked after me and my family. We booked with Angel Tours prior to landing in Rome . The Golf Cart Tour was the best way to see Rome we had 8 in our party 4 children youngest 5 years . It was the best money we ever spent , Emanuele our guide was excellent his knowledge of Rome & the history was excellent, we had two drivers Amir also was brillant. With the heat Angel tours gave us an option to go later at 6.30pm we took it , it was fantastic the Colosseum at night was amazing.Thanks to Angela ( Angel Tours ) Emanuele & Amir who looked after us . We will be back and highly recommed this way of seeing historical Rome .

An excellent way to see lots of Rome’s sights in a day. Riccardo was a great guide. Engaging, interesting and so helpful. Perfect for my 85 year old parent visiting Rome for the first time. Worth every penny.
