En av de mest intressanta platserna på Island på grund av dess geologiska och historiska betydelse. Det håller mötet mellan de amerikanska och eurasiska tektoniska plattorna, men också denna plats valdes för att fira generalförsamlingen, det var här Islands parlament grundades 930 A.D.
Även om detta vackra vattenfall inte är ett av de största i landet, är det ett av det isländska folkets mest älskade vattenfall på grund av dess läge och för dess historiska betydelse
Vi kommer att besöka mjölkgården i Efstidalur för lite glass och även besöka isländska kor och andra djur.
Geysir geotermiska område är ganska fantastiskt där man bevittnar att gejsern Strokkur bryter ut var femte minut.
Det åskande Gullfoss-vattenfallet toppar många listor som ett kraftfullt och hypnotiserande naturfenomen
Efter att ha ätit lunch (ingår inte) på denna tomatodling får vi en inblick i processerna för växthusgartbruk med ett kort och informativt samtal om ämnet. Dessutom föder Friðheimar isländska hästar, så vi kan se och husdjur ett par av dem.
Det är en av flera kratersjöar i området, känd som Islands västra vulkanzon, som inkluderar Reykjaneshalvön och Langjökull glaciären, skapad när landet flyttades över en lokal hotspot, men det är den som har den mest visuellt igenkända kalderan fortfarande intakt.

Vår förarguide kommer alltid att stanna, gå ur bilen och söka efter dig. De lämnar inte upphämtningsstället om de inte kan hitta dig. -Om du bor i centrum och du inte hittar namnet på ditt hotell i listan, måste du använda busshållplatsen som är avsedd för ditt specifika boende. Dessa busshållplatser skapades av staden Reykjavik för att begränsa trafiken av bussar och större fordon på de ibland smala gatorna i de äldre delarna av Reykjavik.

I just finished the Golden Circle tour which was the full day tour with Eduard and wow what an amazing day! Such a lovely person and everything was expertly organized and nicely paced and the perfect size of group. Eddie was most entertaining with the stories about Iceland. He also provided useful and helpful information about each place so we went so we could get the most out of each stop. The van was very comfortable. I would highly recommend Eddie and East west tours.
Amazing golden circle tour with Eduard, he was so knowledgeable of all the sites and an interesting and entertaining commentator for our group. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful day touring the Golden Circle. Al was our guide. He has a lovely disposition and calming voice. Not to mention he's very informative and makes the day quite enjoyable. The tour was very well paced. We didn't feel rushed at any of the stops. The Mercedes Sprinter van accommodated 19 people, was clean and quite comfortable. Lunch was available at the indoor tomato farm for purchase but not included in the tour's price. We highly recommend going on this tour. Request Al!
The tour was conducted in a professional way all on time. Our guide also managed to stop at additional stopovers over and above that was mentioned in the itinerary.
A good trip and everyone says it is a must when visiting Iceland , saw some amazing things but areas are extremely crowded due to popularity and whilst sites are great , we definitely saw better elsewhere in Iceland. Did not really get long enough at each site and it felt rushed all day. Also wasted a lot of time at a dairy farm for buying ice cream which was unnecessary and felt like a kick back for tour guides.

We spent the day with Simon the Spicy Viking while touring the Golden Circle of Iceland. He kept us entertained & laughing throughout the 9 hour tour. All of the stops were great and our small group was the perfect size. I would highly recommend this tour w/Simon when you’re in Reykjavik, Iceland.
