En fantastisk dagstur från Glasgow som tar oss till platser från filmer som Skyfall, Highlander och Harry Potter. Vi kommer att resa till Glencoe och "Road to the Isles", från Fort William till Glenfinnan. Se Jacobite Steam Train när det korsar Glenfinnan Viaduct (apr-okt), en skotsk ikon som är känd för sin klassiska viktorianska ingenjörskonst. Den är också känd som "Harry Potter-bron" som tar trollkarlen till Hogwarts

Luss är vid Loch Lomonds strand. Vi stannar inte bara här för förfriskningar på morgonen, utan för att njuta av en underbar utsikt över Loch Lomond. Ben Lomond, Skottlands sydligaste Munro, (berg över 3000 fot höga) kan också ses härifrån.
Glencoe var inställningen till en av de mest ökända perioderna i skotsk historia, Glencoe-massakern som ägde rum 1692. Det vackra landskapet är en besökare måste se. Vi stannar vid Glencoe Visitor Center för att ge tid att lära oss mer om dalens historia. Centret är också hem för torvhuset där du kommer att kunna se hur livet måste ha sett ut för det 500-600 starka samhället som bodde här i Glencoe från 1600-talet. Vi reser genom dalen två gånger (morgon och kväll) och stannar för foton och för att ta in landskapet medan vi är där.
I skuggorna av Ben Nevis ligger semesterstaden Fort William. Vi reser genom staden på morgonen för att gå med på den romantiska "Road to the Isles"
Vi har gott om tid att besöka Glenfinnan eftersom utsikten här är helt enkelt spektakulär. Du kommer att se de 21 bågarna av den majestätiska Glenfinnan Viaduktkurvan genom dalgången i en scen förevigad som vägen till Harry Potters Hogwarts (från 2 april till okt siktar vi på att nå viadukten i tid för att se Jacobite Steam Train korsa över). Glenfinnanmonumentet ligger vid Loch Shiels huvud och uppfördes 1815 för att hedra jakobiterna som kämpade och dog för Bonnie Prince Charlies sak. Det kommer också att finnas tid att betala entré för att besöka monumentet om du vill. (Observera: Jacobite ångtåg kommer inte att fungera mellan den 1 och 5 september 2025.)
Efter att ha rest tillbaka genom Glencoe & Rannoch hed, kommer vårt sista stopp för kvällen att vara inom Loch Lomond och Trossachs National Park, där du kan njuta av en tidig kväll förfriskning innan vår återkomst till Glasgow.

It was a wonderful experience. We saw some very beautiful landscape that we could not have accessed without a car. The trip was well organised and our guide Kieran was very kind and funny. He even made several stop on the way to help us get good views and pictures of Glencoe and Highland cows.

Our guide was excellent he was humorous and an excellent driver. Giving time for the Highland cows at the end of the tour was a big highlight!

Although we could not go to Glenfinnan because there was a serious accident 9 miles from the location, Alan, our guide, made the day wonderful anyway. He told us many things and took us to wonderful places. I spent a day that I will never forget. The places visited are wonderful, but Alan's company made them memorable. Thanks Alan!

Recommended tour whose highlights are Glencoe and Loch Shiel. Overall full of stunning views of the glens and lochs. Big Al, our driver/guide, was knowledgeable and entertaining, essential in making the experience enjoyable.
