Det finns två distinkta trädgårdar på Claude Monets egendom. Den vackra Clos Normand har hundratals typer av blommor i blom under våren, sommaren och hösten. Du kommer säkert att känna igen den djärva lila Iris kantade stigar och de kryddiga, orange och gula Capucines som klättrar på valvarna precis framför hans rosa hus med gröna fönsterluckor.
Näckrosor!!! Den japanska trädgården på Claude Monets gods är den mest kända eftersom den har en grön bro och en näckrosfylld damm. Din guide leder dig direkt till den och hjälper dig att få de bästa souvenirbilderna! Du kommer att se de exakta platserna där Monet målade från och jämföra målningarna med vad du ser i verkligheten.
Monets färgglada hem: Claude Monet bodde här i mer än 40 år och uppfostrade 8 barn. Inuti kommer du att se hans konstnärsverkstad samt den personliga inredningen och färgglada färgen som han sätter i varje rum. Grupper får inte komma in i hemmet då utrymmet är mycket begränsat inne. Så du kommer att få ledig tid att utforska inuti på egen hand.

We met Ryan at a café very near the Arc de Triomphe and he gave us information about the day and the area on the way to Giverney. We toured Monet’s family gravesite and then once inside the entrance, we visited the house and gardens on our own. It was well worth it to be in a small group. Although it was crowded, I was most impressed with the pond. It felt like you could be stepping in one of his paintings. The garden was also magnificent. A highlight of my trip! I would highly recommend this activity.

Beauty of gardens met expectations but didn’t anticipate the crowds, which made it hard to move comfortably through the spaces. Guide was very friendly but only accompanied group to first stop—cemetery where Monet is buried—and left us to explore gardens and home on our own. Very informative presentation at cemetery but expected more interaction in gardens for price of tickets ($150/each). Young, fun guide but demeanor/presentation not as “polished” as some of the other guides we had.

Easy way to go see the gardens from Paris. My guide was informative and helpful. Made the experience easy and had time to explore the gardens and house once there.
This is a great tour company. The guides are great, knowledgeable and handy, and the van is an easy, comfy way to tour. Highly recommend and Giverny is such a beautiful place!

It was a great tour to Giverny with Sarena. She was very informative. Would not have seen the church or the burial site if not for the tour. Vehicle was comfortable. Sarena was able to create a comfortable time for a tour with strangers.
Our afternoon trip to Giverny was perfect in every way. I appreciated the comfortable van ride but even more, our guide’s breadth of knowledge and his experience around the best approach to managing our time with respect to the crowds at the house, gardens and gravesite. He did an outstanding job with pleasant good humor all day. And he knows a lot about Claude Monet! To top it off he recommended a favorite local restaurant of his to end our wonderful day! This tour was a true gem. Our group of 8 were driven in an air conditioned van to Giverny, Normandy by our wonderful guide Serena. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. She happily answered all our questions and gave us wonderful tips. My husband, a history buff, truly appreciated the stop at the old church and cemetery where Monet and some D-Day heroes were memorialized. We were given time to explore Monet’s house and gorgeous garden at our own pace. As a gardener I was blown away by the pond and multitude of beautiful flowers. I also enjoyed shopping at the gift shop for souvenirs and grabbing a lunch to go at another shop on the estate grounds. We were able to rest on our ride back to Paris. Overall we had a delightful trip and definitely recommend this tour
