Upptäck våra vackraste platser i Holland under en heldagstur med privat sightseeing: Giethoorn och Zaanse Schans. Först besöker du en unik holländsk park som heter Zaanse Schans inte långt från Amsterdam. Här finns Nederländernas mest speciella väderkvarnar som färgväderkvarnen, sågverket, kryddkvarnen och jordnötsoljan. Din chaufför/värd tar dig till den unika träskofabriken där du får se hur vi tillverkar de ursprungliga holländska träskorna. Det finns möjlighet att köpa träskor och några fina souvenirer också. Därefter är det dags att smaka mer än 30 typer av mycket trevlig holländsk ost gratis! Ditt nästa stopp blir Giethoorn, det holländska Venedig. Du kommer att ha en guidad kanalkryssning i en stor båt eller så kan du välja att köra en liten båt själv. Vänligen informera din förare/värd vad du föredrar.

Upptäck de stora holländska väderkvarnarna och ta några fina bilder av dem. Det finns 7 väderkvarnar kvar vid Zaanse Schans och några är öppna för besök. Du kan besöka färgväderkvarnen (det är där Rembrandt, den store holländska konstnären köpte sin färg), en sågkvarn, en kryddkvarn och många fler. Entré till väderkvarnsparken och parkeringskostnader ingår i denna turné.
Lär dig mer om den holländska träskotillverkningen och se en demonstration av hur de gör holländska träskor nu. Det finns möjlighet att köpa träskorna, träskorna och andra souvenirer även i träskofabriken.

Ta en guidad båttur på 1c timme under lindarna, beundra de typiska träbroarna och de gamla bondgårdarna. Du kan också köra en liten båt själv. Om du föredrar att köra båten själv vänligen informera din förare så att han kan ordna det åt dig. Efter kanalkryssningen kan du äta en god lunch på någon av de trevliga restaurangerna i stan eller så kan du strosa i den trevliga byn Giethoorn.

Very pleasant day with accommodating guide Singh. The history of the windmills was fantastic. Pace was perfect and allowed us to enjoy visiting a wooden shoe and a cheese making facility. Easy walking. Nice lunch on our own and ended up with a relaxing boat ride in the canals of the “Venice of Netherlands” . Well worth a visit.

Great private tour for 4 people. In august suggest going earlier because there was a lot of boat traffic on the canal but really pleasant day. From our hotel it was about an hour drive (in a nice Mercedes’ van) and an hour to get to Geithomme but worth the drive. Driver, Marteen, was very nice and accommodating.

Can only think about the fact that our tour guide scammed us. Told us we had to pay for windmill tour $10. That was supposed to be included. Then requested more money because we went over on the time. It was a full day tour. Spent most of the time on the road. We had no choice but to pay him when he took us back to our hotel. Want to make sure this guy gets fired so he doesn’t scam any more people. We gave him $200 and got no receipt. BK-851083274 on July 29, 2022.
Dear Marly, Thank you for your review. I spoke with your driver/guide and what you write is a total lie! Your driver/guide let you before the tour know that if you want to extend the tour you have to pay extra and that was fine and you booked 1.5 hours extra. Why you say you where scammed but you give your driver/guide $ 100,- tip?? That make no sense what you say. It is also a lie that the tickets of the windmills to see them inside is included the tour. The admission to the windmill park is included the tour but not everyone want to see the windmills from inside so the entrance fee to take a look inside a windmill is not included the price. And it is a small amount of € 5,-. You only write this review because we don't do the refund of € 100,- because you booked the extra hours. You let the driver/guide know that you had a wonderful day and you give him $ 100 tip as wel!! So you lie that you were scammed! We only have good reviews about our tours and we don't want to be blackmailed by you because you don't receive the refund. If you had a issue with your driver/guide you could contact our office directly that day but you did not contact us at all! Now 3 weeks later you ask for a refund and write this review?? If you want you can get a reciept of the €100,- extra time you booked but of course you can't get a receipt of the $ 100,- tip you give to your driver!
Gillio was our driver/guide for the day! He was prompt at pick up and great at communication throughout our private tour day. He provided some information in a nice black folder of the places we were going to visit to give us some background on the areas we were visiting and also help us decide what we wanted to see in the short time we had. Great service all around 5+ stars!!

Mario was a wonderful addition to my travels outside of Amsterdam to be able to tour the countryside. He went out of his way at the venues that we attended to ask the operators at each site to provide me special presentation about the workings of the windmills, cheese making and I never felt pressured to not be able to take my time at each stop. When arriving in Giethoorn it began to rain and was quick to have the umbrella ready and walked ahead to purchase my ticket for the boat ride (covered). Added touch he carried my packages after some souvenir shopping. Great tour!

Zaanse Schans & Giethoorn are a must see when visiting Amsterdam. The windmills at Zaanse Schans are definitely a bit touristy and crowded in the Summer months. Giethoorn is just a short drive out of the city of Amsterdam and your in a fairytale town. Cute and very unique
