Fördjupa med oss i fängslande legender från det förflutna som kan ses överallt i staden när du känner dem. Förstå hur arkitekter som Gaudí inspirerades av dem och lämnade en varaktig inverkan på Barcelona. Varför finns det en drake på taket? Varför var en slagträ avgörande i en kamp? Var är Benshuset? Vad är legenden bakom den katalanska flaggan? Hur sätter man detta i sammanhanget med den nuvarande självständighetsrörelsen? Under två timmars promenad kommer vi att koppla från medeltida katalanska historia och legender till det som inspirerade Gaudí och andra arkitekter vid utformningen av bostadshus längs den stora boulevarden Passeig de Gracia. Från gatubeläggning till lampstolpar - alla har en historia som vi vill berätta för dig! Om du älskar historia som lanserats av passionerade berättare och du vill njuta av en liten grupps intimitet så är detta din upplevelse. Efter dessa två timmar kommer du att upptäcka detaljer som du inte har märkt tidigare. Se staden med olika ögon!

Lär dig allt om historien och fasaden på denna fantastiska byggnad designad av Gaudí. Det var hans sista medborgarbyggnad innan han ägnade resten av sitt liv åt byggandet av kyrkan Sagrada Familia.
Vi kommer att gå ner på Grand Boulevard Passeig de Gracia. Från gatubeläggning till lampstolpar - alla har en historia som vi vill berätta för dig!
Helt klart ett av Gaudis mästerverk i Barcelona. Vi kommer att förklara den yttre fasaden och Gaudis geniala kreativitet när vi designade denna byggnad.
Casa Amatller är en av de mest fascinerande modernistiska byggnaderna för oss i Barcelona. Många gäster bryr sig inte så mycket om det, men vi är säkra på att vi kan göra dig lika entusiastisk som vi är när du har lärt dig om dess historia och arkitektur.
Casa Morera är ett fantastiskt exempel på modernistiskt hantverk designat av Lluís Domènech I Montaner. Gömd bakom de otaliga blomdekorationerna kommer vi att peka ut en högst överraskande detalj!
Vi passerar Plaça Catalunya - som förbinder den nya staden, Eixample, med den gamla.
Vi kommer att se det modernistiska konstcaféet som var lika viktigt för Barcelona som konstkaféerna i Paris. Picasso kom hit liksom Gaudí.
Det berömda konserthuset är en pärla av modernistisk arkitektur. Vi kommer att förklara den magnifika yttre fasaden med dess många detaljer och kommer även att få en inblick i den vackra lobbyn.
Vi kommer att utforska området och upptäcka referenser till legenderna vi har hört talas om under turnén.

Michael was our very professional and respectful guide. We started in front of La Pedrera. There, and at every building we visited, he told us very interesting stories, both architectural and historical, with colorful commentary illustrating the anecdotes behind each building, popular streets, and even lampposts. It was a very unique tour to meet Barcelona's most famous architects, beyond the master Gaudí. The two hours flew by without us even noticing, despite the heat. He was a pleasure to work with.

This was a wonderful walking tour! Christian had many interesting stories, insights, and tidbits about the architecture and architects as well the culture of Barcelona. He kept a great pace, and our family (including two teens) found it very interesting and a great use of time in the city.

Excellent walking tour with Michael as our guide. We were able to learn more about the history of Barcelona, Gaudí and other architects that designed interesting buildings. Michael kept us involved in the tour by asking us questions about what we saw in buildings. Our tour was casual, like walking with a friend. Definitely would recommend.

Highly recommended. Time is taken to dwell on buildings so that you really understand what has been built. Very nice host who knows a lot about things. Next time in Barcelona we will go back for the chocolate tour.

We loved the Gaudi tour with Christian. He is a fantastic story teller, with good pace and just the right balance of smaller details and larger themes. Definitely recommend this if you want to learn more about the beautiful architecture of this city.

We had an amazing experience walking around Barcelona admiring the beautiful architecture of Barcelona, the rich history of Barcelona and learning about the stories of the architects and how they created these masterpieces. We were fortunate enough to be the only people on tour that day with Michael, so we could completely tailor the tour to fit our needs. We got some great insights and stories of that time.
