Garni-templet (77 e.Kr.) – det första stoppet – är det enda stående templet i hela det postsovjetiska området. Garni står graciöst på en hög platå med utsikt över Azatflodens ravin. Du kommer också att se det romerska badhuset med den mystiska mosaiken, gjord av 30 000 bitar av natursten, samt ruinerna av det kungliga palatset från 300-talet e.Kr.
Garni Gorge är en fantastisk naturlig attraktion som ligger i Armenien, nära byn Garni. Den är också känd som "Symfonin av stenar" på grund av dess unika rockformationer som skapar en vacker symfoni av färger och former. * Besöket på Symphony of Stones är beroende av väderförhållanden.
Nästa stopp på turen är klosterkomplexet Geghard. Översatt till engelska som "Monastery of the Holy Lance", hänvisar det till lansen med vilken Longinus genomborrade Jesus. Senare fördes till Armenien och hölls i Geghard-klostret i 5 århundraden. Den mest häpnadsväckande delen är arkitektens dygd, som skar kyrkan rakt in i den fasta klippan samtidigt som man beaktade alla regler för armenisk arkitektur.

We had a great experience. The tour guide was very informative and we had many opportunities to stop on the drive to take photos and try some fresh lavash bread. Geghard was very crowded and amenities are not great, so better to use bathroom before travelling there. Garni was also excellent as well as the gorge which looks like the organ pipes. Tour was not rushed at all.

Edgar was an extraordinary host. We saw all shades of autumn on our way, an extremely beautiful view of Mount Ararat, a beautifully guided trip to the Garni Temple, the symphony of stones is a natural marvel that can't be told or written about, it must be witnessed with one's own eyes, and then finally visited Geghard, where Edgar showed us the symbolism and the history of the place. I must say, anyone taking the tour needs to take it with a guide, as you truly understand what each and every place represents and why it's something of value. In the end, it's the host that really made the trip special for us with his integrity, attitude, and hospitality. Thank you, Edgar! Looking forward to visiting and exploring all of Armenia with you!

We booked it last minute and the driver picked us up from the hotel lobby. He didn’t speak much English, but he tried and he made the experience very pleasant. We enjoyed the sites and loved the “gata” cakes he recommended. Altogether it took around 4 hours, and it was just what we needed. Thanks again to our driver, he was one of the nicest people we met in our trip to Armenia.
