Vi hämtar dig från ditt hotell eller bostad i Dhaka City och börjar röra oss mot Sonargaon (ca 1 till 1,5 timmes resa). 11:00 – 11:30 Först besöker vi Goaldi-moskén som byggdes 1519 e.Kr. i en by Goaldi i Sonargaon av Mulla Hizabar Akbar Khan under sultan Hussain Shahs regeringstid. Det är en av de gamla moskéerna i Bangladesh. Vi tar en liten tepaus här.
Boro Sardar Bari i Sonargaon är en historisk herrgård som byggdes 1901 av den rika köpmansfamiljen Sardar. Byggnaden är känd för sin eleganta indoeuropeiska arkitektur och har stora kolonner, välvda fönster och intrikata mönster. Den var en gång en symbol för välstånd, men fungerar nu som en del av Sonargaon Folk Arts and Crafts Museum, som visar upp Bengalens rika kulturella och konstnärliga arv. Det är en av de mest framstående attraktionerna i Sonargaon, vilket återspeglar storheten i regionens förflutna.
Vi kommer att gå Huvudbyggnaden (Prasad) som brukade vara en kung Isa Kha palats. Nu används för Folk-, konst- och hantverksmuseum och täcker även den nybyggda byggnaden av folkkonst. Vi går genom hela campus för att utforska Bengalens gamla huvudstad.
Vi kommer att besöka Panam City som byggdes 1500 e.Kr. Några rika hinduiska herrar drev sin verksamhet här och gjorde en stad att leva med alla faciliteter. Området delas av en enda väg är de viktigaste koloniala systembyggnaderna. Den konstnärliga byggnaden tar oss till Bangla. 13:00 – 14:00 pm : Vi äter vår lunch på en närliggande restaurang med lokal mat som kan vara lite kryddig och varm. Vänligen meddela oss efter bokningen om du behöver särskilda behov.. 14 :00 – 14 :30 : Vi ska vila lite under greenwoodträdet och skvallra själva.
Vi åker till Meghnafloden för att åka båt. Megh är en av de 3 största floderna i Bangladesh. Sonargaon ligger vid floden Meghna.

It is a half-day tour from 11am. It is better to confirm the opening date of each facility in advance of the participation date. It is recommended to bring an umbrella to avoid sudden rain. Both pick-up and drop-off can be specified by the hotel, so it is safe to say.

We took this tour on a very hot day in late April, and it was great to have an air-conditioned vehicle to take us from one location to the next in Sonargaon. At the guide's request, we ended up departing at 1pm instead of 11am, which meant the tour was a little shorter than expected (as we still returned at 6pm). As a result, some of the stops felt a little rushed and it would have been nice to have an extra 10 min or so at each place (we were at each stop for 15-30 mins rather than the 1-2 hours indicated in the schedule). The most relaxing part of the day ended up being the optional boat ride. This small criticism aside, we were able to see all of the promised highlights and felt very satisfied with the tour overall. (In all honesty, the times indicated in the schedule would be too long for most of the stops, especially in the heat - something inbetween would be ideal). Both our guide, Shahadat, and driver were very professional. Shahadat gave us useful information prior to departure, accompanied us to each of the attractions, and even took photographs for us, and we had a safe and punctual journey. Comparing this tour with others on offer, we felt it was very good value indeed and would recommend it to anyone in Dhaka looking to get outside the city and see some more of beautiful Bangladesh. Five stars!
