Ta en privat guidad vandringstur i Cantareira State Park, cirka 40 minuter från São Paulos centrum med privat fordon. Vandringen har som huvudmål att nå Pedra Grande (stor klippa) som är en 1010 meter hög belvedere cirka 5 kilometer från parkens huvudentré (10 km promenad tur och retur), där besökare kan beskåda en av de mest fantastiska vyerna över Sao Paulo. För att nå Pedra Grandes utsiktspunkt vandrar besökare på obanade vägar uppför, på stigar med lätt svårighetsgrad och omgiven av inhemsk skog, frodigt landskap, små fall och djur, särskilt apor. Ungefär en och en halv timmes promenad från parkens huvudentré vilar en vacker sjö. Ta en paus i kanten av den och fortsätt sedan i trettio minuter till och sträck ut belvederen. Väl uppe på det översta rastområdet i Pedra Grande kan du njuta av de otroliga vyerna som sträcker sig över hela São Paulos vidd, med utsikt över dalarna mot den största staden på södra halvklotet.

Vi möter dig på ditt hotell och avgår norr om staden. Efter cirka femtio minuters resa går vi in i Cantareira State Park, ett naturreservat som sträcker sig över mer än 7 900 hektar: motsvarande 8 000 fotbollsplaner!
När vi väl är bland bergskedjan Cantareira börjar vi vår vandringsrutt som leder oss till Pedra Grande. Längs vägen kommer vi att kunna betrakta det frodiga naturlandskapet och de små vattenfallen, samt observera djuren som lever i parken. Håll ögonen öppna och med lite tur kommer du att få syn på några apor! Efter en och en halv timmes promenad gör vi ett stopp vid stranden av Lago das Carpas, där vi kan återfå kraften och koppla av mitt i naturen.
Vi fortsätter vår resa i ytterligare trettio minuter, tills vi når Pedra Grande, en utsiktspunkt belägen på 1010 meter över havet från vilken vi kommer att njuta av otrolig utsikt över São Paulo och dalarna som omger staden. Kontrasten mellan metropolen och den omgivande skogen är verkligen fantastisk!
Avsluta med en fantastisk lunch på restaurangkomplexet "O Velhão" (ingår ej) och smutta på den berömda cachaça, den brasilianska nationaldrinken som restaurangen erbjuder många varianter av.

This was a fantastic day walking the rainforest and seeing the expansive views back over Sao Paulo. Amazing. It is only a short car ride out of the city but you felt miles away. All of the arrangements on the day worked really well with hotel pick-up and drop-off. Communication throughout was really good. Denis, our guide for the day, was absolutely brilliant. Really friendly, great knowledge, excellent English and a fun sense of humour. Made it all really interesting and educational. Also everything was tailored around us (a family of three), what we wanted to see and how long we wanted to be walking. Highly recommended and great value.

Danilo from Gregtur picked us up at our Airbnb and was our guide for the walk up through the National Park to Big Rock for superlative views of São Paulo City. Danilo was a superb guide and we enjoyed his company right from the start . He told us so much about São Paulo, its culture, history and politics that it brought the place alive for us. He had a thoughtful and gentle manner which all of us loved. His English was superb. The walk itself up through the national park(rainforest) was beautiful. The views from the top down to the city were amazing. He gave us space to enjoy the views as a family but was very attentive to our needs. He took some beautiful photos of us and the views. It was a day that the four of us will never forget! I highly recommend the tour and Danilo as a guide. We had another tour booked with Gregturismo the next day and were delighted to find Danilo was our tour guide again!

Was searching very last minute for an outdoor activity the next morning and came in contact with Greg. He did an incredible job of pure customer service by working to coordinate with available guides, open parks, and my budget. I was picked up from my hotel, guided on a 5 hr hike, drank from fresh coconuts to rehydrate, then dropped off back at my hotel. All of this was done by Luiz. Such an amazing person. Full of stories, knowledge, courtesy, and an openness to friendship. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a close urban escape while in Sao Paulo.

Delightful pair of walks up to Pedra Grande with an amazing view of all of Sao Paolo, then through the rainforest to waterfalls. Our guide Dennis was very knowledgeable, friendly and good company. Recommend most highly.
Outstanding views of São Paulo with some close encounters with sagui monkeys! Loved it! Guide explained local food and drinks at an amazing restaurant.
I didn’t post any pictures because I didn’t want to confuse the actual tour we did. I was unable to do the hike due to a last minute injury. The tour guide company was phenomenal at accommodating the change of plans and we were able to have a great day with Denis our guide. He was very knowledgeable and guided us with ease in English. Highly recommend this tour as their staff is exceptional
