Detta är en privat tur bara för dig om vår största mexikanska katolska tro promenader i den näst mest besökta Marian distriktet i världen ligger i Tepeyac Hill. Guadalupes basilika innehåller ett flertal byggnader, kyrkor, kapell, ett museum och flera skulpturer. Vi kommer att besöka den monumentala klockan, det första templet, den gamla basilikan, den nya basilikan, trädgårdarna med små vattenfall, kapellet på toppen av kullen och det lilla templet av heligt vatten. Den ursprungliga bilden av Jungfrun av Guadalupe ligger i New Basilica och detta vördas av miljontals troende. Du ska göra dina böner framför Jungfrun av Guadalupe och ta emot välsignelserna med heligt vatten. Du kan köpa religiösa artiklar inne i Basilikan. Vi återvänder till mötesplatsen i metrobussen.

Mötesplatsen ligger bredvid den stora statyn av påven Johannes Paulus II. Vi kommer att besöka hela det religiösa komplexet: Den nya basilikan (där är den ursprungliga och mirakulösa tilma från 1531), den gamla och första basilikan, helgonområdet där Jungfrun av Guadalupe uppenbarade sig för Saint Juan Diego 1531 och där ligger det första kapellet som Guadalupe begärde att bygga. Vi kommer att gå uppför kullen Tepeyac (med små vattenfall och trädgårdar). På toppen kommer vi att besöka blommornas kapell och du kommer att ha en vacker utsikt över Mexico City. Det här är platsen där Juan Diego mindes de mirakulösa blommorna i sin mantel. Vi besöker monumentalskulpturen The Offer med två vattenfall. Vi avslutar vårt besök med det lilla kapellet tillägnat det heliga vattnet. Du kommer att ha chans att köpa religiösa grejer inne i det religiösa komplexet. Du kan be oss om tid för hörmässan.

The Basilica is a very large complex. We were so grateful to our guide Martin. He was very knowledgeable about the history, culture and religious heritage and genuine in effort to make sure we enjoyed our time there. We very much enjoyed our tour and he even helped translate our needs for shopping in the store and helped capture our experience with photos! It was fantastic!!

Lots of walking and worth it. There is more to see than meets the eye. Definitely recommend having a tour guide. Ours was wonderful! His name was Gabriel.

This company canceled my tour about 18 hours before it was scheduled to start and gave no specific reason. I had stayed an extra day on this trip to enjoy the tour having changed a plane reservation and added another night to my hotel stay.

Was a little apprehensive about the meeting point details of this tour as there are conflicting information. On several emails it specifically identified the an entrance just outside the Basilica (the one I used as the destination to our Uber ride) however there was also a mention of the Statue of Pope John-Paul II. Had to confirm via telephone that it was indeed in front of the statue. Our guide Diego was quite competent and was knowledgeable about the whole place. Since it was a Sunday he had to rearrange his normal routine to accommodate the thick crowds which worked out well.
