We did the Positano, Sorrento, and Pompeii day trip and were fortunate to have Paolo as our driver/ guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and showed us more than we expected! He was also very kind and easy to talk to, and taught us so much about the area. If we are ever lucky enough to be back in the area, Paolo will be the first person we call.
Had a fun visit to Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii on our all day tour via the Amalfi coast near Naples. Our tour guide, Paolo, was terrific. He had a lot of historical knowledge of the areas and gave us great tips at each stop, while also keeping in touch with us via WhatsApp.
Paolo was AMAZING! Such a sweet guy and a wealth of knowledge. He provided us our best day in Italy to date! Dropped us in the beautiful town of Sorrento and pointed out where to walk around and some beautiful sites to see. Then took us to lunch where we enjoyed olive oil tasting with our kids, wine tasting, a delicious Italian meal with the most beautiful view and wonderful service! Ended our day in Pompeii! Excellent service on time and provided a clear comprehensive overview of the places we went to visit l. We did this as a shore excursion and it was excellent. My wife and I hired the Naples Tours for our full day travelling through the Amalft and we could not be happier. The logistics, the transfers, the car, and the guide were better than we expected. Our guide shared amazing stories, took us to some of the most breathtaking vantage points, and showed us the best locations for snacks, espressos, and lunch. We sensed from away that we were going to have a unique encounter with him. Because of Paolo's in-depth expertise and enthusiasm for the region, our trip was much enhanced. He gave us a fantastic tour of Pompeii to start the day, bringing the ancient ruins to life with his rich historical commentary. His understanding of Pompeii's everyday life really enhanced the significance and interest of our visit. Paolo took us on a breathtaking drive along the Amalfi Coast after Pompeii. He drove expertly, navigating the narrow coastal roads with ease and making sure we were comfortable and safe at all times. He showed us where to go in Amalfi to get the greatest views, the tastiest local food, and the cutest stores. He gave excellent ideas for a charming gelato café and a neighborhood trattoria. Positano was the tour's high point. Paolo was well-versed in the ideal vantage positions for appreciating the splendor of this charming village. He allowed us plenty of time to meander through the charming neighborhoods, peruse the upscale stores, and unwind by the shore. His advice on where to get the greatest limoncello and handcrafted goods from the area gave our visit a more unique feel. Our day was made even more memorable by Paolo's professional manner, friendliness, and meticulous attention to detail. In between our visits, his spotless and cozy car offered a soothing environment. He went above and above to tailor our tour to our interests and speed, and he was always on time. Paolo is highly recommended by us to everyone who wants to see Pompeii, Amalfi, and Positano. His knowledge, friendliness, and enthusiasm for the area made our tour one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Italy. Many thanks, Paolo!
