Heldagstur på Isle of Man med en kvalificerad Isle of Man Tour Guide

Beskrivning

If you’re visiting the Isle of Man, booking a private tour with Jane is one of the best decisions you can make. We spent eight incredible hours exploring the island, and somehow Jane managed to fit in everything you could possibly want to see without the day ever feeling rushed. From breathtaking coastal scenery and charming villages to fascinating historical sites and hidden gems that I never would have discovered on my own, every stop was thoughtfully chosen. Jane’s knowledge of the Isle of Man is exceptional. She shared the island’s history, culture, folklore, and local stories with genuine enthusiasm, making every location come alive. She was warm, engaging, and wonderfully accommodating, tailoring the day to my interests while ensuring we experienced all of the island’s highlights. By the end of the tour, I felt like I had truly experienced the Isle of Man rather than simply visiting it. It would have taken me days to see as much on my own, and I wouldn’t have gained the same insight and appreciation. If you’re looking for the ultimate Isle of Man experience, I can’t recommend Jane highly enough. This tour was worth every penny and was the absolute highlight of my visit. Thanks again, Jane! ☺️
Thank you so much for such a wonderful review Patricia, I certainly enjoyed our day together and was delighted that you gained so much insight into the island and enjoyed it. Come and visit us again some day. Jane
If you have any interest in the deep, rich and beautiful history of IoM, you absolutely must do this day tour. You will discover that the IoM story goes back many millenia, culminating with a deep and richly rooted celtic tradition interwoven with modern day society and governance. IoM is a uniquely structured and proud society of lovely warm and welcoming people's. The sort of community spirit I remember growing up in as a baby boomer era kid in North East of England.
Thank you Graham for such a wonderful review, it is so much appreciated, as you never know until you receive a review, how much (or how little) a person has enjoyed the tour. Jane
In over 5 years of doing private, cruise line, Tours-By-Locals and Viator tours Jane is absolutely the best tour guide we’ve EVER had! The 8 hour tour she provided took us to the highlights around the entire island. If you have never been to this island you must plan a trip here whether by cruise, bus or on your own. The natural beauty of the island totally blew us away! Jane knows the island’s history, agriculture, governing structure, economics, etc. and personnel at every stop we made. In addition to the standard highlights she showed us hidden gems like the WW II interment camp sites at Knockaloe and the geological Lapetus Suture at Niarbyl. Great lunch and for desert she took us through a door where we ate to see a 2/3 rd replica of a Viking ship that actually sailed from Trondheim Norway to Peel Isle of Man. We met as strangers and left as good friends.
Thank you so much, it was a wonderful day to show off the island, the weather, the light and of course the guests who shared my love of the island and all is little nuances. It was such a great day out with both of you, come back and visit again. Jane
The whole day was excellent. Jane was a brilliant host and was filled with loads of facts and stories about the places we visited and the island itself. As we were only on the island for 2 days, the trip was an excellent way of seeing a variety of places in a short period of time and definitely gave us the appetite to return for a longer stay.
Thank you so much for such a lovely reveiw and I do hope you return during the season to see how much more we have to offer
Oh, we enjoyed our day on the Isle of Man. Such a beautiful Isle! Jane is the ultimate ambassador! We learned sooooo much about an island that we had no idea about. We got to see the purple heather and yellow gorse blooming on the hills. We went up to the far North and West and East and South. Everywhere in our 8 hour day. We learned the history and unique government that this island is all about. Comfortable Rav 4. Great lunch spot with real Isle of Man food. Complete immersion! Choose Jane. you will not regret a moment.
Thanks so much for such a lively review
Jane's enthusiasm and her vast knowledge base made her a delight to have as a tour guide. Receptive to questions and highly aware of her client's interests, Jane was able to merge her client's interests while simultaneously sharing information about the Isle of Man. The eight-hour experience felt like eight minutes - her passion for her job was infectious!
Many thanks for the lovely review and so sorry I missed responding, the season was busy and Covid did its rounds and time ran away. I trust you will return one day. Jane
We booked this tour on the recommendation of our son & his partner & it was wonderful! Jane was great, so knowledgeable & enthusiastic about everything about the Isle of Man. She took the time to chat & find out our interests & tailored the tour accordingly. We visited so much of the island it gave us a good flavour of what’s there & we both fell in love with the whole island. It was an excellent day!
Thank you so much for a lovely review, it was great to meet you and we were so lucky to get to see some lovely sights. The heather is in full bloom at the moment with the gorse and it is a glorious patchwork of colour at the moment Jane
The island's history came to life while on tour with our guide. Fantastic storytelling that bolstered our curiosity and desire to find where our ancestors came from. Well worth the experience!
Annette thank you, still working on the graveyard but that information will be with you soon. It was an interesting visit to such a large graveyard, with little information. But I think successful. It was good to meet you both
We visited Scotland, Ireland and IOM on our visit to the UK. Our full day tour with Jane was nothing short of fantastic. The late October visit coincided with torrential rainstorms in Scotland and IOM. Jane picked us up on time and said she was surprised we didn't reschedule due to weather. We said we were in it to win it and we were still ready to see the island, umbrellas and rainboots ready. Jane was just as game and we headed out for an unforgettable day on the island. The wind was whipping at 60+ miles an hour and Jane willingly drove us up the cliffs to see what we could see. The views were stunning, even as the winds were knocking us off our feet and we marveled at the sheep who seemed completely unbothered. Jane took us everywhere as prior planned, we still climbed up to the top of the Laxey wheel and popped inside the dripping mine, wearing the much needed hardhats. She allowed us to stop and take as many pictures as we wanted, even as we came back to her car wet and dripping every time. We stopped in a teeny, tiny coffee shop, complete with a cozy cat sleeping in a box, overlooking the roaring sea for a mid-morning break. Lunch overlooked the massively churning sea and we were elbow to elbow with the locals (it was yummy, too!). We rode along the streets where the TT races occur. We saw King Orry's gravesite (4000-5000 yo), Tynwald, churches, graveyards, sheep, the only thing we missed was seeing a real Manx cat. :) She told us fascinating stories about Man and what it might have been like back when my grandmother lived in Douglas. She was a delightful tour guide and as we consider a return visit to the UK this year, a revisit to IOM is on the table, as we'd love to see this lovely island again and tour everything we didn't see this time - and of course it would be with Jane!
I have just seen this wonderful review and apologies for not responding sooner. This season has been so busy and I think just as wet as when you were here. We have had a strange summer with the heather blooming early and the storms coming and going, One day you will have to come back when the weather is a bit warmer and the skies clear. Thank you for you lovely review
This was a magical tour that let us explore all parts of this mystical and wondrous island. We highly recommend Jane, our tour guide, who led us to these beautiful places. She seemed to know everyone, has a lot of experience on the Isle, and made sure to make this an unforgettable experience. This private tour is highly recommended over group tours because you can see and do so much more...It's hard to put into words how much more you get. It's worth every penny. The Isle of Man quickly became one of my favorite places I've visited (been to over 50 countries), and I look forward to spending much more time here.
