Heldagstur i Tolantongo från San Miguel Allende
Beskrivning
Dagen börjar med en trevlig frukostbuffé för att förbereda den energi som behövs för dagens aktiviteter. Efter det blir det vattenaktiviteter hela dagen. Vi börjar turen med de varma poolerna som har etsat fast på bergssidan, och fortsätter sedan ner till den turkosa termiska floden för en avkopplande lunch längs dess stränder. Efter lunch hoppar vi in i flodens varma vatten innan vi går över till de härliga vattenfallen och grottorna. Innan vi går in i grottorna kommer vi att beundra utsikten över vattenfallen som vaktar de naturliga grottorna vi kommer att utforska. I grottorna kommer vi att använda våra lampor för att gå genom det varma vattnet som extruderar inifrån, utforska de inre vattenfallen och observera ursprungspunkten för vattnet som ger Tolantongo dess namn. Tolantongo, som betyder "plats för varmt rörligt vatten," kommer att visa sig ge dig en upplevelse i Mexiko som inte liknar något annat. (Utforskning av floder och grottor är beroende av bra väder dagarna innan för att möjliggöra en optimal upplevelse).

Vid avgång åker vi till Tequisquiapan (90 minuter). Vegetarvänliga alternativ med begränsade veganska alternativ. Frukosten är på oss. Efter frukost (40 minuter) åker vi vidare till Tolantongo (120 minuter).
Pool Tranquility (2 timmar): Börja din upplevelse med att koppla av en stund i "pocitos"; naturligt varma termiska pooler som ger häpnadsväckande utsikt som lugnar och rengör kropp och själ – perfekt för "the gram". Det finns ett zip-lining-alternativ för övergång till floden, inte inkluderat (250 mexikanska pesos). Lunch (30 min): Picknick vid floden (om vädret tillåter). Förbeställ lunch från den lokala restaurangen och ställ upp vid floden. Lunch ingår INTE i priset. River Relaxation (2 timmar): Därefter är den turkosfärgade floden välskött och är naturligt varm på grund av de varma källorna, en fullständig avkopplande upplevelse. Grottutforskning (60 minuter): Du kommer att se imponerande vattenfall och oväntade äventyr som våra gäster har beskrivit som "livsförändrande". Våra guider tar dig att utforska grottorna och tunnlarna som finns här. Njut av vattenfallen som täcker grottorna och ta ett dopp i den varma poolen inne i berget. Vi åker iväg 17.30.
Åk på vägen till Huichapan (90 minuter). Stretch Stop: Toalett och stretchpaus. Fortsätt föraren till San Miguel de Allende (120 min)

We had a wonderful time. We were so surprised by the grandeur of the river valley and the experience of exploring and swimming in the caves. The mountain side pools were relaxing and gorgeous. A must do experience!
If at all possible, request Diego when you book this excursion. He was right on time, very friendly and quite willing to share his knowledge of the surrounding area and culture. He explained everything we would experience and was there to lend a hand where necessary. Make sure you stand under the falls in the cave for a natural massage.
Grutas Tolantongo itself is a breathtaking destination with stunning turquoise waters, relaxing thermal pools, caves, and beautiful mountain views. Diego helped us make the most of our time there and provided a great tour with wonderful conversation. He made the long drive enjoyable, shared interesting information along the way, and ensured everyone felt comfortable and safe. Every moment was absolutely magical. Highly recommend - you will enjoy every moment!

Thank you for allowing me to join the existing tour at the last minute, and to the family that agreed to have me on their tour. It was excellent to see Tolantongo before the Easter crush. An easy and enjoyable full day excursion from San Miguel de Allende with door-to-door transport. Diego was the guide, and he demonstrated excellent driving skills, smiling connection with all the local providers, knowledgeable information, and smooth provision of all the things - snacks/drinks/chairs/backpacks/timing … all the things seen and unseen that make a tour enjoyable and relaxed because someone is working hard behind the scenes. This is a very professional tour experience, but one that feels personal and bespoke. I enjoyed all elements of the destination, and although heavily touristed (for obvious reasons because it is so good!!) the natural beauty and existence of really hot thermal springs was so good to visit. The full moon following us home topped off the perfect day.
This was an awesome trip! 3 kids (8,6 and 4) and one senior citizen were also in our group and they all had a blast. The variety of things to do there was an awesome surprise and our tour guides literally thought of everything- from blankets for the van ride, to a beautiful riverside picnic at the end of the day, and headlamps etc.
This was a wonderful experience! Our tour guide was very friendly and we never felt rushed. I will be returning!
4 of us took the tour from San Miguel to Tolantongo at the end of January 2926z Christian was our driver and tour guide. From the minute he picked us up, we had a wonderful time. He was kind, informative, patient and his English was very good. It was worth the money and the time. The pools, caves and river were so beautiful. They looked like they’d been photoshopped. Thank you Christian for making our day and happy memories.
