GOREME PANORAMA, Det mest storslagna landskapet runt Göreme har varit bildas av dess stelnade lavaströmmar, dess aska och tuffsten, allt från neocen period. Den genomkorsas av djupa dalar bildade av kraftig erosion. Denna veritabla mån landskapet utmärker sig genom sina omfattande geologiska formationer. Det högst typiska Morfologiska strukturer i Kappadokien är resultatet av tusentals år av kontinuerliga erosion, som har format tuffavlagringarna till de märkligaste pyramider och kottar.
UCHISAR är en troglodytby som ligger 4 km öster om Göreme. Det är känt för den enorma klippformationen en gång användes som befästning. Denna extraordinära sten är den högsta toppen i regionen och erbjuder en magnifik panoramautsikt över hela Kappadokien med berget Erciyes i fjärran. De flesta rummen i slottet är förbundna med varandra med trappor, tunnlar och passager. KAYMAKLI UNDERGROUND CITY är byggd under kullen som kallas Citadellet av Kaymaklı och öppnades för besökare 1964. Folket i Kaymaklı (Enegup i Greek) har byggt sina hus runt nästan 100 tunnlar i den underjordiska staden. De invånarna i regionen använder fortfarande de mest bekväma platserna i tunnlarna som källare, förrådsutrymmen och stall, som de kommer åt genom sina innergårdar. Kaymaklı underjordiska staden har låga, smala och sluttande passager. Medan den underjordiska staden består av 8 våningar under marken, endast 4 av dem är öppna för allmänheten idag, där utrymmena är organiserade runt ventilationsschakt.
GOREME OPEN AIR MUSEUM, Kappadokiens mest kända attraktion, av goda skäl, är Göreme Open Air Museum, ett komplex av medeltida målade grottkyrkor uthuggna av ortodoxa munkar. Det finns över 10 grottkyrkor i Göremes friluftsmuseum. Tillsammans med prästgårdar, bostäder och en religiös skola, bildar de ett stort klosterkomplex uthugget ur en ungefär ringformad sten bildning i Kappadokiens överjordiska landskap. Det bästa sättet att utforska grottkyrkorna i Goreme är via den tydligt markerade vägen och arbetar moturs. Alla har en modern turkisk namn, givet av lokala byar baserat på ett framträdande drag.
PASABAG, mycket anmärkningsvärda jordpelare kan ses här, mitt i en vingård, därav namnet på platsen som betyder: Pashas vingård. Pasha betyder "General", den militära rangen, i turkiska och det är ett mycket vanligt smeknamn. Denna sida kallas även Monks Valley. Namnet var härstammar från några kottar huggna i tuffstenar som står isär. För närvarande finns det en vingård och en antal tuffkottar som står alldeles intill vägen.
PIGEON VALLEY, tusentals duvhus uthuggna i klippan. Det är surrealistiskt vision: ett upprörande falliskt landskap direkt ur en Salvador Dali-målning. De koniska formationer är resultatet av vulkanutbrott som ägde rum i miljoner år sedan. Erhan and Cemal were our tour guide and driver. Erhan took us on a variety of different viewpoints and popular tourist locations. He was very knowledgeable about the history of each stop we made. Additionally, he was very kind and patient and gave us plenty of time to explore each location on our own and take pictures. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Ahraim, as a guide, is very knowledgeable and accommodating. He always asked how we were doing throughout the two tours. He shifted the itinerary around to accommodate change in weather conditions. He also shifted the itinerary according to our wishes and capabilities. The driver who works with him is also pleasant and courteous.

This was a perfect way to explore Cappadocia. The tour with Erhan and Mustafa surpassed all expectations. Erhan was very knowledgeable about everything to do with Cappadocia, we wouldn't have had such a rich understanding of the region without him — from the history of Uçhisar Castle and the Göreme Open Air Museum to the stories that brought the underground city at Kaymaklı to life. Mustafa was an excellent driver, getting us comfortably between every stop — Goreme Panorama, Pasabag, Pigeon Valley, Avanos, and Devrent Valley — at a pace that never felt rushed, with plenty of time to take it all in and grab great photos. What made the day special was how personal it felt: this wasn't a generic group tour, and both Erhan and Mustafa went out of their way to tailor the experience and make sure we were comfortable and genuinely enjoying ourselves. If you're visiting Cappadocia, I can't recommend this tour highly enough — five stars, without hesitation.

Vedat was an exceptional guide and his driver was very professional as well. He was able to tailor our family experience to exactly what we wanted and was very informative throughout the process. He provided valuable insights on the history of Cappadocia, as well as Turkey as a whole. They were very accommodating, as we wanted to start early in the morning to help avoid crowds. I particularly enjoyed the Goreme Open Air Museum and the pottery making experience at the end! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone interested who is traveling to Cappadocia.
