Följ med oss på en otrolig demi-privat heldags vintur runt ön! Besök historiska vingårdar, prova våra bästa viner, njut av öns traditionella espetada-rätt i kombination med lokala viner och njut av fantastisk utsikt! Lär dig hemligheterna bakom Madeiras vin på denna oförglömliga resa! Vi åker från Funchal med ett privat besök på Blandy’s Wine Lodges, en av Madeiras äldsta producenter där du också kommer att smaka på de fantastiska Madeiras förstärkta viner! Därefter korsar vi ön till norra kusten och passerar genom den UNESCO-listade Laurissilva-skogen. I São Vicente tar vi en provsmakning av röda, vita och roséviner, följt av en promenad i vingårdarna och lunch, med den traditionella rätten espetada - spettbiff. Efter lunch stannar vi vid en hisnande utsiktspunkt för fantastisk utsikt över den otroliga norra kusten! När vi återvänder till sydkusten besöker vi Barbeito's för en sista provsmakning av speciella Madeiraviner. Våra kvalificerade guider och skåpbilar ger all den komfort du behöver.

What an absolutely brilliant day! Communication with Iara was superb, and she managed to amend the tour to a private one, bespoke for our group. She also arranged pick-up from Calheta for a nominal additional fee. Our guide, Pedro, fitted right in with our vibe. He happily chatted with us, regardless of age or interests. He was knowledgeable about both the island and the three wineries we visited. He drove with care and at a comfortable speed on the bendy, narrow mountain roads in the north. The scenery was outstanding. Blakey’s tasting was polished and a great start. Lunch at Barbusano was generous and well cooked. All the hosts and guides spoke excellent English. A ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ day out!
I did this winery tour solo and had an amazing time. It ended up being a very small group. We went to three wineries in different areas with vista stops along the way. Our lunch meal was delicious. Our guide Monica was also wonderful. She shared lots of interesting information about the history of Madeira.
Excellent day with guide Monica. Visiting 3 wineries, tasting 12 wines and a fantastic lunch. Add Monica's home grown and heart-felt explanations of sights along the way.
We had a fantastic day out with our amazing guide, Monica! She was so full of enthusiasm and knowledge! Not only did we get a great wine tour but also got a tour of Madeira. I would highly recommend!
Had a fantastic day out with Monica. Visited three different places for wine tasting. Had two short “unofficial” stops in between to take in the beautiful scenery. Lovely, comfy car which seated 7 plus Monica who drove and explained things on the way. Plenty of food and wine for lunch with amazing views over the vineyard. Was a lovely day out which we really enjoyed.
Pedro was such a great guide! 5 stars! Would recommend this tour to all wine lovers. The second stop was by far my favorite, the vineyard is beautiful and the meal is superb! best Espeteda we had on the island.

This was probably one of the most expensive day trips we have ever booked but worth every penny. With a small group of 4 we certainly could not complain about a lack of personal attention. Our guide for the day was Filipa who we could not praise enough for the sharing of her immense knowlege about Madeira and her general company throughout. Our 1st stop was Blandy's where we learnt so much about the families history, investements and passion about their fortified wine business. Great tastings and explanantions about the various wines. Our 2nd visit was to Mr Antonio's table wine vineyard. We had an escorted vineyard visit and wine tasting with Joana whose passion and knowledge about this vinyard (and wines in general) was outstanding. This vinyard tour was followed by extensive wine tastings and accompanied by a very full lunch. The final visit was to the Barbeitos production site. Sadly our guide for that didn't have the greatest knowledge and for our tastings didn't provide water between these to clear the palatte. This was disappointing after our previous 2 visits. Because of the latter I did consider giving this a 4 star rating but that would have been unfair on the many positives and enjoyment of everything else.
