Höjdpunkter: • Besök den största Inca arkeologiska platsen i Ecuador och det enda elliptiska templet i Inca imperiet. • Få en fantastisk panoramautsikt över oförglömliga Andeslandskap som är fulla av kontraster. • Titta på lokalbefolkningen vävsjuvar med den unika tekniken "Ikat" som utvecklats av prekolumbiska stammar. • Kolla in Chordelegs berömda smycken och keramik.

Förbered dig på att ge dig ut på en spännande resa genom Ecuadors fantastiska högland, där hisnande vyer väntar vid varje tur. Vår destination? Den respektingivande Ingapirca, ett imponerande inkafästningstempel dränkt av historia. Det anses vara Ecuadors viktigaste arkeologiska plats, och det är inte svårt att förstå varför. Inkafolkets otroliga ingenjörskunskaper och arkitektoniska skicklighet är uppenbara på denna plats byggd av soldyrkare.
Vårt äventyr fortsätter med en pittoresk 1,5-timmes bilresa till de charmiga byarna Gualaceo och Chordeleg, där en härlig traditionell lunch på Arhana Resort väntar. Vår fasta meny innehåller förrätt, varmrätt, läsk och en liten dessert, med vegetariska och veganska alternativ på begäran.
Vårt nästa stopp är Chordeleg, en stad känd för sina begåvade juvelerare och andra hantverksbutiker. Här har du ledig tid för shopping eller insup stadens fascinerande atmosfär. Oavsett om du är på jakt efter den perfekta souveniren eller bara vill utforska, är detta ett bra stopp.
I Gualaceo besöker vi det koloniala torget, du kommer att fördjupa dig i stadens rika historia och oemotståndliga charm. Njut av en kaffe och för den äventyrslystna kan du prova den traditionella Rosero-drinken. Det är det perfekta sättet att uppleva de autentiska smakerna i Ecuador.
Vid vårt sista stopp besöker vi en lokal familjs verkstad där du får bevittna den intrikata processen att väva sjalar och ponchos på antika vävstolar. Med hjälp av färgämnen utvunna från växter har denna traditionella metod gått i arv genom generationer. Efter en hel dag åker vi tillbaka till Cuenca.

Our guide Diego was excellent and made the experience great with all his historical knowledge of the country, and its ancient civilizations. He was attentive and very attentive. I would not hesitate to recommend it warmly. As we were only 3 people, it was a "private" tour if you can put it that way. The restaurant chosen was excellent and the service impeccable. The visit of the two villages of Gualaceo and Chordeleg, and its craftsmen, as well as the visit of the ruins were of great professionalism on the part of Diego.

Amazing trip! Our guide Juan, and driver Homero picked us up at our hotel. Our van was comfortable and Homero was a safe driver. Juan is a local guide and is very knowledgeable about Cuenca and the surrounding areas. As we traveled he provided information about the area, its history and the environment around us. At Ingapirca he provided a great tour, not only teaching us about the site but various flora and fauna we saw. The learning continued as we visited Gualaceo and learned about the lkat style of weaving. Lunch was delicious and well worth the price! An appetizer, soup, entree, dessert and drink. Chordeleg was amazing and we enioyed seeing how the silver filigree is made. Last stop was back at the large Gualaceo market. Juan helped us find an amazing bakery where we had delicious Rocio (a local fruit drink) and bread. Homero safely delivered us back to our hotel. Fabulous tour with an excellent guide! Do yourself a favor and take this tour!

Cris was an incredible tour guide. Very attentive and full of knowledge. I learnt a lot a Cañaris and Incas. Definitely worth it.
