Detta är The Historic Triangle Tour. Res med en lokal bakåt i tiden och även i kronologisk ordning. Vi kommer att tillbringa den första delen av vår dag på 1600-talet och andra hälften på 1700-talet. Det var här landet började, du kommer att se och lära dig historia från en lokal. Vi börjar vår dag i Jamestown, början 1607 med en guidad tur. Vårt lunchstopp kommer att vara nästa vid kaféet som ägs av en lokal restaurang där vi kommer att ha en inkluderad måltid som kan vara kolonialstil om så önskas. Efter lunch reser vi in på 1700-talet med en tur på slagfältet och avslutar vid revolutionskrigsmuseet.

Yorktown War museum förklarar livet på 1700-talet under revolutionskriget. Vi kommer att ha en delvis guidad tur samt ledig tid att utforska på egen hand.
Yorktown Battlefield är där George Washingtons armé 1781 kommer att konfrontera den brittiske generalen Lord Cornwallis armé. Vi kommer att få en guidad tur på en del av slagfältet med några bildstopp.

We had a wonderful time on the Yorktown-Jamestown tour on 07/08/2026. Our guide, Matt, was terrific, blending local history (he is a native of the historic triangle of VA), personal anecdotes, and humor that made the trip one of the best we have ever experienced. Hats off to Viator! We are glad to have had the opportunity to offer our 15-yr-old grandson (and his Dad) the chance to share this with us. We will definitely be seeking out Viator tours (this was our first) as we travel to other parts of the country in years to come. Thanks so much for a great time!
Jamestown one full day and one full day for Yorktown. Providing lunch was a real treat! Our driver JOHN WAS EXCEPTIONAL. Very knowledgeable of local history and he pointed out things we might have missed without a guide. Hie is very personable and has agreat sense of humor!

The confirmed trip was cancelled due to inconvenoence for the provider. When i have travelled across the country the tour it is not satisfactory although the refund was quickly approved. Care to refubd air fare and lodging (rhetorical)?
We had such an amazing, fun, interesting, history filled day! Matt did a great job of covering all the main points, keeping us entertained, driving us all over and providing us with a wonderful lunch! This tour is a MUST DO!
The tour guide/bus driver was knowledgeable and personable. He was very able and recommendable.
The bus tour is long however the day goes fast! You learn a lot and get a great idea of the area and the history. The lunch stop was good and you have some free time at the different locations to see what you want, use the facilities, gift shops etc. It is a nice blend of tour guide and explore time. The brand new bus is comfortable and gorgeous! The guide is extremely well educated and works hard to keep any kids/teens engaged in the day.
The tour was both a real learning experience as well as really enjoyable. This was due to our guide. It was a real pleasure spending the day with him and our group.
This was a very interesting experience getting to see about the colonial life and visiting all of the experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept things very interesting and interactive for all of us. The colonial lunch was also a great experience. We loved every moment of our tour.
I was told by the ticket agent at Jamestown that trying to do Jamestown and Yorktown in one day is difficult. I found it was very doable because of the Viator package, transportation and lunch. This is a bargain. The guide was a local whose family has lived in the area for many generations.
