Denna turné är för turister som vill njuta av koreansk kultur, arv och liv. Vi kommer att besöka de mest populära attraktionerna i Seoul. Dessutom ger provsmakning av populära koreanska livsmedel mer nöje för dig. Du kan njuta av stadsrundtur och gourmettur under en dag. Vi kommer att besöka Gyeongbokgungs kungliga palats, bytesceremoni för kungliga vakter, Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong och etc. Vi kommer att besöka en lokal kvalitetsrestaurang och smaka på Jinseng Chicken soppa till lunch. För vegetarianer finns det trevliga vegetariska restauranger. Under turnén njuter vi också av koreanska snacks eller te. Till middag kommer vi att smaka på olika sorters gatumat på Kwangjang-marknaden. För alla ovan nämnda turnéaktiviteter och mat ingår i vår turné och du behöver inte boka separata biljetter för stadsrundtur och mattur. Gyeongbokgung Palace är det första palatset som byggdes 1395 av fem palats i Seoul i Joseondynastin. Detta palats byggdes av fenhshui som är en traditionell geologisk teori, Namnet Gyeongbokgung palats betyder att nya dynastin skulle ha stor välsignelse och blomstra för evigt. Geunjeongjeon Hall och Gyeonghoeru Pavilionare är nationella skatter i palatset, Geunjeongjeon Hall är huvudbyggnaden i palatset, de flesta av stora evenemang som kungens invigningsceremoni och mottagande av ambassadörer från främmande länder hölls på denna byggnad. Gyeonghoeru Pavilion användes för bankett och underhållning. Innan vi går igenom Gyeongbokgung palatset kommer vi att titta på Changing ceremonin av kungliga vakter. Gyeongbokgung-palatset och den kungliga vaktombytesceremonin är stängda varje tisdag, så vi kommer att besöka det andra kungliga palatset, Changdeokgung-palatset, varje tisdag. Changdeokgu Palace är mycket vackert palats och finns med på UNESCO:s kulturarvslista.
Koreas nationella folkmuseum visar det Koreanska folkets kultur och folkhistoria från förhistorisk tid till slutet av Joseondynastin. Museet har ägnat sig åt att studera och forska om Koreas folkhistoria och samla artefakter från olika Koreanska regioner för att förmedla en inblick i koreanernas livsstil och kultur.
Bukchon Hanok Village är en Koreanska traditionell by i Seoul med en lång historia som ligger på toppen av en kulle. Den traditionella byn består av många gränder, hanok (Koreas traditionella hus) och är bevarad för att visa en 600-årig stadsmiljö.
Jogyesatemplet ligger i centrala Seoul och fungerar som högkvarter för Koreabuddhismen. På grund av Jogyesas läge i hjärtat av Seoul, besöker stora mängder turister templet för att uppleva buddhistisk kultur.
Insadong är en traditionell kulturell plats där du kan se gamla Seoul. Gatorna i Insadong kantas av hantverksverkstäder, antikaffärer, gallerier och restauranger, traditionell hanok stil tehus och etc.. Seoul stad utsåg Insadong till gata för traditionell kultur 1988, och den första kulturella platsen 2002. Under turnén på Insadong, kommer vi att besöka en vacker traditionell Hanok stil te trädgård och smaka en traditionell te.
Cheonggyecheon är en 11 kilometer lång Eco-vattenväg och ett modernt offentligt rekreationsområde som pånyttfötts genom det massiva stadsförnyelseprojektet i centrala Seoul och blivit populärt bland invånare och turister.
Baek In-je House är ett museum och kulturarv i byn Bukchon Hanok. Huset är ett välbevarat hanok (Hanok betyder traditionellt Koreanska hus). Hanok byggdes på en upphöjd tomt och det finns otrolig utsikt över Bukchon Hanok Village från huset. Det finns också en rymlig trädgård. Hanok är en av de få största kvarvarande hanokerna i staden, och på grund av sin unika historia och skönhet utsågs hanok till ett medborgarkulturarv och omvandlades till museum. Stängt varje måndag.
Gwangjang Market är en traditionell gatumarknad och är en av de äldsta traditionella marknaderna i Sydkorea och är den mest populära platsen för de flesta turister på grund av att du kan smaka olika koreanska gatumat med traditionellt risvin som heter Makgeolli.

Bergen was the perfect guide. He was very informative during the tour and let you explore at your own place. The tour focuses on Seoul north of the Han river and all locations that were visited are all worth the trip. We had a great day weather wise which added to enjoyment. It is a full day and you are doing a lot of walking so plan accordingly. The motor coach was very comfortable and it is nice not having to worry about dealing with the Seoul traffic. Bergen was AMAZING! He took us to great locations in and around Seoul, took great photos of us and just enriched the experience with details and history about South Korean Culture. The highlight of this tour was how empathetic Bergen was. I lost my passport (before this tour date), casually shared the story with Bergen, and he was so kind and nice enough to take us the police station to translate for our police report that was required by the embassy. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a private, fun and warm experience!

It was truly an honor having Bergen as our tour guide for Seoul and Nami Island! He was incredibly versatile—providing insightful historical and cultural context when needed, and sprinkling in fun anecdotes that made the experience even more enjoyable. Each meal he introduced us to was a culinary highlight—whether it was the comforting Samgye-tang, the famous dumplings from the knife-cut noodle lady featured on Netflix, or the delicious BBQ chicken we grilled ourselves, every bite felt authentic and full of flavor. Bergen also took us to beautiful, lesser-known spots we never would’ve discovered on our own, like charming historical homes, the stunning Garden of Morning Calm, and even a unique Starbucks in Korea that doesn’t display the usual logo outside. But beyond the itinerary, what truly made the experience special was Bergen himself. He’s patient, down-to-earth, and genuinely good-humored—qualities that made our first visit to Korea feel warm and welcoming. Highly recommend him to anyone visiting Korea!

Bergen was an excellent tour guide, making concessions for my bad knee, but also adding in stops he thought we would like. We so enjoyed the day! This was worth it! Bergen is such a great guide who is very knowledgeable in all the sites we visited. He took good care of me and was able to take me to all the sites without issue. This is the perfect itinerary to see major highlights in Seoul. Bergen is a seasoned guide who explained the history and current information of each location. He also was mindful on what I was interested in. The food was also awesome. I got to each the popular ginseng chicken soup and walking through the markets and eating the popular bites was definitely a treat.
