Meet Bosnia Tours-byrån är startpunkten för vår Srebrenica-studietur. Turen börjar kl. 8. Före turnén kan vi ordna upphämtningsplatsen du väljer för extra bekvämlighet.
Välkommen till vår rundtur till staden Srebrenica, en plats med en komplex historia som har format regionen Vårt första stopp är vid batterifabriken, som användes av FN-styrkor under kriget i Bosnien. Här kommer vi att besöka museet för folkmord i Srebrenica, ett av de modernaste museerna i Bosnien och Hercegovina. Kuratorn kommer personligen att guida oss genom museet och dela förstahandsupplevelser av överlevnad i Srebrenica-enklaven. Museet är utrustat med multimediafaciliteter som inkluderar ett urval av filmer för att hjälpa dig att förstå händelserna som ledde till det värsta illdådet i Europa sedan andra världskriget. Vi kommer sedan att besöka Memorial Room, där vi kommer att lyssna på berättelser om offren, som berättas av en lokal journalist. En del av Memorial Room är tillägnad förövarna av massakern.
Vår resa tar oss sedan till staden Srebrenica, ett en gång blomstrande industricentrum och en av de äldsta bosättningarna av människor, nu en spökstad. Det är här vi ska äta lunch, eftersom det finns begränsade matställen i närheten. Ago was my guide the whole day. Pick up and drop off were so smooth. The history and the background information he shared through the trip were superb. I definitely recommend this tour company and particularly this tour if you want to learn about Srebrenica.
Very enriching and important visit to Srebrenica. Our guide was great and shared many accounts of this history with us.
Firstly we went on the great and highly informative free tour of Sarajevo which prompted us to buy the Srebrenica study tour. This tour was illuminating on one of the greatest tragedies of the 20th century. Our guide Amir, was highly knowledgeable and shared the history of his country, his own personal experience during the war and put into context what led to this genocide done in open view for the whole world to see while the UN did nothing to stop it. The memorial centre was a humbling experience. We spent quite a few hours there and then visited the cemetery and Amir went the extra mile to take around the city and show us where everything happened. Highly recommend this tour!

Really insightful guide who was clearly very passionate about and knowledgeable on the subject. It was really interesting listening to him and seeing what the current situation is in the Serbian majority part of the country. The guide pointed out places of interest and shared what happened there on the way to Srebrenica as it's a long drive. We stopped at a cafe owned by Bosniaks and our guide shared how Bosniaks are slowly returning to the area. There is no obligation to buy anything, but it is nice that the company gives tourists the opportunity to support local families trying to return to their hometowns/villages. The museum itself at Srebrenica was interesting with a lot of information on the topic and the museum guide was also insightful. While the tour is about a heavy topic, it is still an enjoyable experience to delve into the history of such a horrible period. I would highly recommend it for anyone interested in history or simply wanting to understand more about Bosnian resilience.
Fantastic guide Almir is a friendly and above all knowledgeable guide with a huge amount of knowledge on this subject. The personal stories make the whole thing impressive.
It is hard to explain at how good this tour was, I had certain expectations before due to knowing some information about the subject. But everything was exceeded, from the ease of communucation with pick up from the hotel, to the drive to Srebenica, one of the most beautiful drives, with the amazing amazing tour guide Almir, talking through the history of Bosnia, the War and Genocide, with such a brilliant human touch, May God reward him for his work, and there is so much more I could say. I would recommend this tour to everyone, to understand what happened, why it happened and why its being repeated again around the world. May God bless all the people involved and reward them for their hard work that is truly needed.
I did 3 tours with this company (Visegrad, Herzegovina, and this one) and with excellent itineraries and reasonable prices, they helped me have a wonderful vacation in Bosnia. Very well-prepared guide who was the highlight of the excursion; thanks to him, I had the opportunity to see the tragedy of the genocide from a more complete point of view, I understood the causes, the dynamics, and the environment that led to it.
