På vägen kommer du också att njuta av en härlig utsikt över 1 WTC (alias Freedom Tower) från Battery Parks gräsmatta. runt Castle Clinton-strukturen på väg till Frihetsgudinnans säkerhetskontrolltält innan godkänd passage till färjan till Frihetsgudinnan.
När turen fortskrider in i hjärtat av Battery Park kommer vi på en rund, historisk struktur, kallad Castle Clinton. Dagens rundtur inkluderar ett besök på Ellis Islands berömda invandrarbearbetningsdepå, och likaså har Castle Clinton också spelat en roll i vår invandrarberättelse. Från 1892-1954 var Ellis Island den största, mest trafikerade och mest kända depån för invandrarbearbetning i USA! Under turnén kommer din guide att dela insiktsfull information om den här öns varierade historia och kommer att dela djupgående information om invandrarinspektionsprocessen. Guidens kommentarer görs på öns område, utanför Ellis Island National Immigration Museum. Turen avslutas på Ellis Island efter att den guidade delen av turen har avslutats. Efteråt är du fri att utforska Ellis Island vidare, på egen hand. Tillgång till de många fina självstyrda utställningarna som finns i det fascinerande Ellis Island National Immigration Museum, ingår i priset för din turné. En bokhandel, souvenirbutik, kafé och datoriserade forskningsanläggningar för immigranter finns också på ön. Our family had such a special experience on this tour. Traveling as a group of four, grandmother/mother, two daughters (mother) and a daughter/granddaughter, we immediately connected with our guide, who made us feel like we were part of her family. Our shared perspective made the entire day feel more personal and thoughtful. She had a natural way of bringing the history of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to life, weaving in meaningful stories while keeping everyone engaged, from the youngest to the oldest in our group. You could tell she genuinely understood how to connect with families, making sure everyone felt included and comfortable throughout the tour. What stood out most was her warmth and patience. She checked in often, made sure we stayed together, and answered every question with care and enthusiasm. Debbie was an amazing tour guide! She was very informative and fun to my family. We learned so much on this tour that would have been missed otherwise if we just tried to assemble the texts in the exhibits ourselves. We felt very safe and taken care of and would recommend anyone do this tour!
