Lär dig oväntade fakta om den äldsta offentliga parken i USA (1634). Parken är en del av Emerald Necklace – detta gröna band består av 6 parker. Vi kommer att stanna vid Telegraph Hill – den historiska kullen som förknippas med grundandet av staden. Parken har bevittnat stora ögonblick i amerikansk historia. Det är hem för flera monument som Boston Massacre Memorial, Great Elm Tree och Soldiers and Sailors Monument. Det är här Bostons berömda Freedom Trail börjar.
En basrelief i brons – ett stort konstverk utfört av skulptören Augustus Saint-Gaudens.
Det är en sann arkitektonisk pärla. Byggd i slutet av 1700-talet av den amerikanske arkitekten Bullfinch, denna gyllene kupolbyggnad, i federal stil, dominerar Beacon Hill.

Paul Revere House, 1676 – en av de sista resterna av kolonialtiden. Den berömda revolutionären bodde där från 1780-talet till 1800-talet.

Den första kyrkan i North End byggdes på denna plats 1650. Under hela kolonialtiden var den den mest inflytelserika kyrkan i nordost och ett fäste för den puritanska tron.
Copp's Hill, uppförd 1632, är den högsta punkten i Bostons North End. På toppen av denna kulle finns en gammal kyrkogård med anor från 1659. Från Copp's Hill Terrace kan du beundra ett magnifikt panorama över Charles River, såväl som Bunker Hill Obelisk och USS Constitution på motsatta stranden.

We had a wonderful guided tour to cover Boston downtown main sight seeings and secrets. My family does not speak English so it was very helpful. Maria was also keen to address all of our questions.i have been living here for 2 years but this tour gave a lot of perspective around the history and all the festivities. All information and comments were well documented. Maria is also such a lovely person. We had a great time and recommend warmly.
Maria takes us on a 2.5-hour journey through the fascinating history of the city of Boston. Her route allows us to discover key places in the city. The story she tells us includes such interesting anecdotes that we do not notice the time passing!

Maria knows Boston at her fingertips and knows how to interest everyone. I myself was with high school students, they learned a lot and appreciated Maria’s informed comments. An incredible walk along the path to freedom and through the picturesque neighborhoods of Beacon Hill and Back Bay. We had a great time, Masha introduced us to the history and anecdotes of the Freedom Trail. It was the second time I took a guided tour of Boston with her, and it will not be the last!
We had a great time during this visit with Maria. The explanations about Boston’s origins and history are very interesting and Maria knows how to embellish them with funny anecdotes. We were a small group of 9 people and the light headphones system made it possible to hear very well without Maria having to scream like other guides on the course. We had visited Beacon Hill the day before which is complementary because it is not part of the tour but its origin and the past of Beacon Hill is well explained also during the tour.
