We enjoyed the trip. The bus ride to Pompeii was comfortable and well air conditioned. Our guide was friendly and knowledgable (Emma). We felt like we got a good amount of time on the tour.
This was an absolutely awe inspiring trip. For cruisers looking to book an excursion outside of your cruise line, this group could not have made it easier. They wait for you right where the required shuttle buses drop you off. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to answer any questions you have. It's impossible to truly see all of Pompeii in one visit (especially when it is 105 degrees F), but our guide made sure we knew the history, focused on things we showed interest in, and made the visit incredibly memorable. I highly recommend this activity.
Very interesting tour that showed a city that came to life with a lot of digging. It is truly interesting to see how this city was once built and what they are bringing back with the archeologists
Definitely not something you want to do on your own without a tour guide, as she explains everything to you. You can wander, but won't know the story behind what you're looking at. She was a wonderful tour guide!
Everything was perfect. The coordinator was easy to find right outside of the port. The bus ride was comfortable and only 30 minutes. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and moved at a comfortable pace. Pompeii speaks for itself. Absolutely worth doing and the best part is they do all of the legwork getting the tickets.
Our guide Francesco was amazing. We enjoyed this tour so much. Francesco has worked with the park as an archeologist and his perspective was a bonus. The park has little shade, so it was very hot and the walk is uneven with steps. If you have mobility issues, watch some videos before committing. It’s worth it though!
The trip was so well organised, meeting point at the port was easy to find, nice air conditioned bus and great tour guide. Very good excursion from Salerno, well worth the cost. Pompeii is about 30 minutes drive from Salerno, there were a huge number of people milling about on arrival but Daniella steered us through with ease. The tour really brought the trip to life. Highly recommend.
Guide was excellent. He was extremely knowledgable as he lived in Pompei and worked as an archeolgist.

Tour Operator was communicative, reaching out to ensure travellers were supported even before the start. The bus driver and Pompeii Guide, Daniella, was excellent, especially deftly moving us successfully in a very busy visitor day to Pompeii. Really just a taste of Pompeii, it actually needs a few days to cover completely. Only four stars because we didn’t know the bus would meet to Guide at the site, not the Hostess at the Port meeting us.
