Från Prag: Karlstejns slott i liten grupp & Koneprusy Caves Trip

Beskrivning

Adam gave a well paced, super informative tour across several genres. First off, a geology and industry lesson as the Grand Canyon. Next, Interesting details on why the castle was built in a valley and how it kept its secret water wheel unknown to seiges. A comfortable lunch time conversation was a good time to ask any further questions about the castle. Very different than the one in Prague or Krumlov. Not much of a medieval village to explore so save that for a Krumlov tour. Then, Adam turned into a geology expert with his detailed explanations in the cave system. Adam weaved in human history stories that kept my 15 year old engaged in learning the details. He also held the respect and attention of our travel companions from Norway who were there on a grad trip. Plus, he’s a great driver ! My son said he enjoyed this trip more than seeing cesky krumlov, so if you have kids and are trying to decide what tour to take, you now have your answer.
I had an amazing day. The castle visit was stunning, lunch was delicious with plenty of options, and the caves were interesting. The guide was friendly and everything was well planned.
We spent the day today with our guide Adam and in a small group and were mega enthusiastic. We felt very comfortable. Adam was mega friendly and the tour was so worth it. We can really recommend it.
What a great way to see a historic medieval castle and to see some stunning caves! This day trip was a great time, and our guide Adam made it so much better! He was super knowledable about the history of Czechia, and taught us so much knowledge in the caves. The lunch at a local restaurant was really great as well where we got to enjoy some local cuisine. Will be recommending this day trip to anyone i know going to Prague.
Great communication from Uniline tour operator, tour guide Adam and Viator booking. Caves were amazing and Adam and his colleague shared aspects and made the excursion memorable and safe. Castle was interesting and scenic —-though our castle-based knowledgeable Tourguide Sarah spoke English well, but too fast and without articulating so often hard to understand. You do not see the upper castle which in photos looked most interesting. Wish we had more time to see the whole video beforehand. Lunch was disappointing-marginal, but provided by sweet mom & pop across from castle climb that provided closer parking with less of steep climb to top. Beer tasty. But really stuffy and hot in restaurant, no a/c nor able to open the windows —/even though lots of flies inside. Only complaint on operator was squeezing 8 into van. Two front seats with driver were sub-sized and not very comfortable for a supposed small group tour. Middle one could not stretch out legs. Middle and rear seats had room. Lots of steps and inclines. Be prepared.
The trip was amazing. Our guide Paul was very friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The medieval castle was lovely and well worth the visit. The English guide within the castle was excellent. We went with Paul who guided us through the caves. The walk through the caves was very interesting and had an excellent visit. I have to mention that it was sad to see that some visitors could not respect simple rules. Paul had to tell a man from another group that he cannot try to scale the cave walls!
This was a fun day trip. The castle was lovely to visit but much of what is inside is replica of the original. The caves on the other hand were marvelous and fascinating. That alone made the trip worth it with the wonderful guidance from our tour guide Jospeh. He was very charismatic and full of knowledge about many aspects of Czech history.
The castle and caves were both fascinating—and the drive offered a great glimpse of the Czech countryside. Lunch was very nice. Overall, definitely well worth the trip. Martin was a perfect guide. Very informative and friendly—great stories and explanations. So knowledgeable and organized and helpful. Very communicative, too, when en route to pickup.
We enjoyed our day. Keep in mind there are a lot of stairs and some significant hills. Paul was a great guide- informative, interesting, and fun. Highly recommend.
Thank you for your lovely review! We're so happy you enjoyed your day with Paul. He'll be delighted to hear your kind words. Thanks as well for mentioning the hiking—it helps future guests prepare for the adventure. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again!
We had an amazing time on the Karlštejn Castle and Koněprusy Caves tour! Our guide, Martin, was absolutely fantastic. He kept us entertained with interesting stories throughout the journey and was incredibly kind, polite, and caring. His explanations were engaging and informative, and he truly made the experience even more enjoyable. The tour itself was wonderful. Karlštejn Castle was beautiful and full of history, and the Koněprusy Caves were absolutely breathtaking. We also had a delicious lunch in the village near the castle. I highly recommend trying Kofola, a traditional Czech soft drink—it was surprisingly delicious! The only downside was the weather. It was extremely hot, with temperatures between 35°C and 37°C, which made walking around a bit challenging. Despite the heat, we had a fantastic day and created wonderful memories. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Martin as your guide!
Thank you so much for this amazing review! We're thrilled you had such a memorable day with Martin. He'll be delighted to hear your kind words. Despite the hot weather, we're glad you enjoyed Karlštejn Castle, the caves, the lunch, and even discovered Kofola! We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again.
