Berg och palats : Börja i hjärtat av naturparken Sintra-Cascais (UNESCO). Till Atlanten: Äventyret fortsätter utför mot kusten. Rid genom vilda stränder, dynområden och höga klippor, som täcker ca 40 km av Portugals olika landskap. Kustnära avslutning : Efter gömda stigar och urskogar, anländer till kuststaden Cascais. Det är den ultimata flykten från stadens rörelse – frisk luft, fantastiska landskap och djup kontakt med naturen.

Turen börjar med en genomgång av hur cyklarna fungerar, på Largo da Severa, Mouraria i centrala Lissabon. Du kommer sedan att gå till Rossio station för att ta tåget till Sintra. Under tågresan har du tid att låta din Guide veta om du vill besöka några av slotten längs vägen eller om du bara vill cykla.
När du anländer till Sintra kan du besöka National Palace om du vill. Det mesta av din cykeltur äger rum i Sintra-Cascais naturpark.
Du har möjlighet att besöka Quinta da Regaleira, byggd mellan 1904 och 1910, och en plats som är känd för sin symbolik, magi och mysterium.
Strax efter att du kommer förbi Seteais, ett tidigare palats från 1700-talet som nu är ett 5-stjärnigt hotell.
Fortsätt din resa längs vägar som flankeras av majestätiska lundar tills du kommer till ingången till Monserrate Park och Palace, en av de vackraste skapelserna i den portugisiska romantiken stil.
Anländer till Colares, en plats som är välkänd för sina vingårdar.
Fortsätt vidare till byn Penedo, där du kan njuta av en fantastisk utsikt från kyrkans atrium innan du cyklar vidare till Urgueira by. Ta en paus till lunch i byn Azóia, där du hittar ett stort utbud av restauranger.
Med förnyad energi kan du fortsätta din tur genom en gammal skog och ta dig upp till Peninha Sanctuary, som ligger på 488 meter över havet.
Härifrån har du panoramautsikt över Espichel Cape och Arrábida, söderut, Carvoeiro Cape och Berlengas, i norr och hela Sintra berget i nordöster. Återvänder du till centrum av Sintra, cyklar du nedåt och tittar på Pena Palace, ett viktigt monument för den portugisiska romantikrörelsen. Du kommer att resa med en informativ och hjälpsam guide, lika passionerad om älskade Sintra som om cykling.
Alternativt kan du gå ner till vilda stranden Guincho - med dess oändliga sanddyner och typiska vindar som är så uppskattade av vindsurf-älskare - tills du når cykelvägen till Cascais.
Återvänd till Lissabon genom den vackra staden Cascais med tåg där du har en av de mest fantastiska utsikten över den portugisiska kusten.

We had a great day of biking (family with 2 teen children). Incredibly beautiful scenery. Bruno was our guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, with excellent English. Lunch was cheap and delicious at a cafe with the locals. A decent riding distance covered - made easy by e-bikes and lots of interesting stops along the way. Very few cars on the roads. Water fountains all the way along the route and we had a swim in the ocean at the end.
This trip is absolutely awesome. While the route is great and the sites are memorable Bruno makes it all come together. Bruno greeted us warmly and made sure the group on our ride was introduced. He was very attentive to our safety throughout the ride. We felt like family by the end of the trip. He helped us navigate the crowds in Sintra and then guided us through the incredible nature park and all the way to the beaches in his hometown of Cascais. We had a wonderful lunch, family style, at Refugio do Ciclista with a group of locals. The views from the mountains above the beach are spectacular. The ride provided a good workout even with the e-bikes. We did over 23 miles with 200 feet of elevation gain. I would highly recommend this trip!
Our guide, Daniel, was amazing! He took us to the mountains, the sea shore, castles, and to a phenomenal authentic Portuguese restaurant. He was full of interesting historical facts, and so very kind.

Fantastic cycle tour with Bruno. Great route with lots to see. Bruno stopped and explained each place of interest in detail while keeping us all safe. We would highly recommend this trip.
Book direct, a bit cheaper. The whole day was amazing. Our guide-Bruno, very cheery, knowldegable and looked after everyone. Train from Lisbon to Sintra included. Mixed ability riding group helped by the well maintained e-bikes. Stopped at a local cycle cafe- meal, desert and glass of local wine €10. 100% recommend. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic trip. Ricardo the guide we had was amazing. Great cycling route, fantastic views and great stops for coffee and lunch. We travelled to Sintra by train with the bikes and this was a great experience too. Would really recommend this tour. We have been on 3 tours since we arrived in Lisbon for our weeks holiday and this one was definitely the best. You would definitely need to be able to use a bike and be a confident enough cyclist in traffic etc but you would not need to be too fit as the e bike does all of the work on the steep climbs. A great day out of the city, well organised and relaxed.
We did the tour in german with Claudio as a tourguide. We had a really great time. We thought about renting ebikes and do some tour on our own, but we are so glad we didn't! It was a perfect mix about just enjoying the nature and scenery and learning about the history. Maybe it was because our guide Claudio always let us lead the experience. I think without Claudio we would not have driven this really magnificent route. And even if we did by chance, without our guide we maybe wouldn't have felt completly safe as we did all the time. Claudio was really open minded and we felt comfortable to ask about all aspects of the past and current life in Lisboa/ Portugal and he was super friendly and courteous for the whole length of our trip. The bikes and helmets were of perfect quality. It was our first guided ebike tour, but it will definetly not be the last! Thanks again to Claudio and of course to all the other people involved letting us have this experience which we surely will remember for quite some time.
An absolutely fantastic bike tour! Bruno was an outstanding guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate. He shared interesting historical insights with a perfect balance between learning and enjoying the ride. The route itself was beautiful, with stunning views throughout, and the pace was just right. Overall, this was a perfect way to explore the area by bike. Great guide, great local lunch spot, great views—highly recommend!
