Vi börjar ljust och tidigt från tropiska Darwin, vi reser söderut längs den legendariska Stuart Highway, passerar genom charmiga historiska städer som Adelaide River eller Pine Creek innan vi anländer till den välkomnande staden Katherine.
Längs vägen, gör dig redo att bli förvånad över de unika växter och djurliv som bara finns här i Northern Territory. Luta dig tillbaka, koppla av och njut av den fantastiska naturen medan din expertguide delar fängslande berättelser om områdets rika historia och kultur.
Denna magiska ravin tas om hand av Jawoyn-folket, de traditionella väktare vars djupa andliga band med landet kommer att ge landskapet liv på sätt du aldrig kommer att glömma.
Höjdpunkten? Den spektakulära NitNit Dreaming båtkryssning genom den ikoniska Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk). För både naturälskare och spänningssökare är denna tvåtimmarskryssning ett måste! Driv genom en dramatisk kanjon inramad av höga klippor som svävar 70 meter höga, badade i ständigt skiftande nyanser medan solljus dansar på klipporna.
Snabbt stopp för att checka ut besökscentret och gå på toaletterna, innan vi beger oss ut till Edith Falls för ett dopp. *Observera: Beroende på båttillgång kan turplanen besöka Edith Falls innan Katherine Gorge Cruise.
Härnäst kommer ett besök på lugna Edith Falls (Leliyn), undangömt i hjärtat av parken. Beroende på tidpunkten besöker vi Edith Falls antingen före eller efter båtkryssningen. Dyk ner i den uppfriskande naturliga bassängen för ett svalkande, uppfriskande dopp, eller varva ner vid vattenbrynet och låt de fridfulla vibbarna skölja över dig.
Efter att ha laddat vid Edith Falls åker vi tillbaka mot Darwin och följer vår rutt genom Pine Creek eller Adelaide River. Reflektera över dagens otroliga sevärdheter och berättelser när du reser hem och bär med dig den oförglömliga andan i nationalparken Nitmiluk – en plats där vild skönhet och rik kultur möts i perfekt harmoni.
När vi rullar tillbaka till din upphämtningsplats, luta dig tillbaka, slappna av och återupplev dagens magi – full av episka sevärdheter, skratt och oförglömliga ögonblick. Vilket äventyr! Gruppen återvänder till Darwin City runt 20:00 på kvällen efter en fantastiskt rolig dag med att utforska Nitmiluk National Park och Katherine Gorge.

This tour is definitely well worth doing. It is a long day but the beautiful Edith falls and the Katherine Gorge make it worth while. Our driver and tour guide Boggie made our day interesting and informative.

It is a long day. (14 hours) Be prepared for up to 8 hrs driving. But worth it! Our driver/guide Tom was informative, tireless, great sense of humour and really made the day entertaining instead of gruelling. Edith falls walk is 2km of track (return) with last 100m rock scramble. Stumble watch for those with limited agility!

However, you mentioned it was definitely worth it! I only had the one day to see KG and it was a long one. On the bus a majority of the time, for a 1.5 hour stop at Edith Falls,( that's 30 min to walk there and 30 min to walk back and if you have slower guests-overall during the morning- it can cut down your time at the falls for a swim), and 1.5 hours on the boat to see the gorge.It was worth it for me ( just stunning) however, most your time is spent sitting on the bus. Tour guides on bus and boat were really good in terms of their knowledge of the area and telling interesting facts and stories. Stops for meals were provided-basic fare. Bus has an esky to store and keep food cool if you want to take your own, as well as a water supply to top up your bottles. Bathroom breaks offered. 12 seater Bus had air conditioning and the boat had a roof, which was appreciated in the heat. Hike to Edith falls is an immediate quick elevation but then becomes a more gentle incline that leads to a bit of a rock scramble down to the falls. Need some level of fitness-tricky for the less mobile.

Travel bus time approximately 6 hours but plenty of stops, comfortable vehicle, air-conditioning, water and esky for your food on board! Our tour guide, Tim, was very knowledgeable, informative and gave plenty of time for exploring! Comfortable times between stops..highly recommend this tour, Tim was great!
