Ditt äventyr börjar klockan 09.00 när din vänliga engelsktalande guide möter dig på ditt hotell i Brasov. Gör dig redo att utforska två av de vackraste och mest välbevarade medeltida städerna på vår eskorterade dagstur! Först besöker vi Sighisoara Citadel, en UNESCO: s världsarvslista och födelseplatsen för Vlad the Impaler. Vi kommer att utforska klocktornet, kyrkan från kullen och huset där Vlad föddes! Om du känner dig hungrig kan vi ordna lunch i den medeltida staden Sighisoara (extra kostnad). Efter Sighisoara åker vi till Sibius gamla stad, som var Europas kulturhuvudstad 2007. Du kommer att ha möjlighet att promenera genom Stora torget, Rådstornet, Lilla torget och lögnarnes bro. Sibiu är hjärtat av germanska Transsylvanien. Saksiska kolonister kallade staden Hermannstadt. Sibiu stad ligger på platsen av en av de största medeltida fästningarna från Rumänien. Under medeltiden var Sibiu omgiven av tre koncentriska ringar av befästa väggar. Vissa har överlevt, tillsammans med ett fascinerande nätverk av torg, trappor och torn som går mellan 13 och 18 århundraden. Vi besöker den stora torget, som är den historiska stadskärnan i Sibiu, nämndes först i dokument 1411 som en spannmålsmarknad, torget som existerade sedan 1366 när stadens tredje befästningsbälte slutfördes. Vi besöker den lilla torget, som är den näst största historiska platsen i Sibiu och en av de vackraste i staden och Huet Square, dominerad av den evangeliska kyrkan, som är den äldsta i Sibiu, Liars 'Bridge. Höjdpunkter: Stora torget, Den lilla torget, Rådtornet, Ljungarnas bro, Den evangeliska katedralen och det äldsta huset i staden. • Brasov-Sighisoara 1 timme 50 min körning. • Sighisoara till Sibiu 1 timme 30 min körning. • Sibiu till Brasov 2 timmar 15 min körning. Återvänd till Brasov runt 8 pm och släpp av på ditt hotell eller gamla stan.
Besök Sighisoara medeltida stad, UNESCOs världsarv, inklusive klocktornet, kyrkan på kullen och huset där Vlad Impaler föddes. Vandra runt de smala gatorna kan vi beundra, under skuggan av det gamla klocktornet, huset där en okänd kvinna födde ett barn, Vlad, som kommer att bli känd över hela världen som Dracula. Dessa gator, som också ignorerar raklinjen och det horisontella planet, döljer och avslöjar, vid varje steg i ett utarbetat men urbana naturlandskap, medeltida målningar som glädjer ögat och uppmuntrar fantasin. Unmistakable charm och personlighet i staden byggdes i tid, genom att harmonisera de på varandra följande insättningarna av historien. Går längs väggen som omger Sighisoara citadell, beundrar vi de femhundraåriga husen tillsammans med tornen uppförda av olika guildar i citadellet, varav Skomakare, Skräddare och Tin Makers Guildtorn är de mest imponerande. Vi besöker kyrkan på kullen, men inte för att klättra de 175 täckta stegen som byggdes 1642 för att underlätta tillgången till skolbarnens. Efter Sighisoara gamla stan besök, gå till en lokal restaurang för lunch med färska sallader, traditionella soppor, läckra sarmale, kött, kyckling, grönsaker och andra regionala priser (drycker och måltider på egen bekostnad). Traditionell lunch kan ordnas i Sighisoara medeltida stad.

Bogdan patiently and comfortably drove us all over beautiful Romania to fulfill our list of fascinating sights. In hindsight, I wish we had skipped Bucharest and gone immediately to Brasov after Bogdan picked us up at OTP. Such a walkable charming city! I think he hinted this suggestion during our planning, but would never have pushed us to do something we didn't think we wanted to. He was very considerate of our wishes. We didn't understand just how much time it would take to travel between locations within our 5 days in Romania! As we learned about each other during those car rides through such lush countryside and mountains, we greatly appreciated Bogdan's gentle, subtle nudging from one amazing sight to the next to keep us on track. He also had obviously made long-standing relationships with fellow travel guides and local inn keepers and all seemed to greet each other warmly. He provided a local perspective of both Romania and Vlad Dracula, architecture and traditions, along with plenty of authentic pride in his country. At one point, I asked him when the Renaissance came to Romania, and his response was that, "Romania was the front line for invaders from the East, so it took longer for them to have time to appreciate the arts." I hadn't thought about it that way. And if there was anything he didn't know, he would always research the answer. Because of Bogdan, we had a relaxing, no-stress Romania experience and I highly recommend his tours!

Was the perfect day for the perfect places in Transylvania. Brasov is the right place to base yourself of and this trip is ideal to cover the highlights in a tight but comprehensive way. From Brasov to Sighisoara to Sibiu all in a day and in time to take the train to Bucharest the same evening. The guide/driver Bogdan was well knowledgeable, very pleasant to talk to and of course a really safe pair of hands behind the wheels.

This was such a fantastic tour! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and such a great driver. We had the most wonderful day, had plenty of time to stroll through the city at our own pace and we took in all the amazing and rich history these places have. I would 100% recommend this tour and I’d absolutely sue them in the future!
saw 2 old cities with Saxon influences, vlad drakula birth, beautiful nature on a way with couple hours in each city
Very pleasant company with Bogdan as professional and kind guide, but the amount of time travelling meant we only had very small amount of time in both places which was disappointing. The weather was not the best which was unfortunate and I appreciated Bogdan’s excellent driving in difficult conditions.
We took this tour with Mimi. She was so great. So much knowledge and very fun to travel with. Would recommend her for sure. As for the tour, it was amazing. So much history and beauty. Loved both towns but I truly loved Sighisoara. The old feel and the look of the town took my breath away.
