Besök Wat Lokayasutharam för att se den jätte Reclining Buddha med 37 meters längd och 8 meter höga. Buddha tillverkades av tegel och cement i konststil i Mellan Ayutthaya.
Byggt av kung U-Thong (den första kungen av Ayutthaya) 1357 e.Kr., Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon var meditationsplatsen för munkar som återvände från pilgrimsfärd till Sri Lanka. Den stora chedi byggdes 1592 av kung Naresuan The Great för att fira sin seger över Burma (nu Myanmar) samma år.
Wat Mahathat var känt för "Bhuddha-huvudet i trädrötterna" och var ett av de viktigaste klostren i Ayutthaya Kingdom, inte bara för att det var det religiösa centrumet och de förankrade relikerna från Buddha utan också för att det var ett kungligt kloster.
"Det heligaste templet i den antika Ayutthaya". Wat Phra Sri Sanphet var det största och vackraste templet i huvudstaden och det fungerade som en modell för Wat Phra Kaew (templet för smaragd Buddha) i Bangkok.
Wat Phu Khao Thong, som byggdes 1569 av Bayinnaung den stora av Hantawaddy (nu en del av Myanmar) för att fira sin seger över Ayutthaya, är ett av favoritmärkena i den antika staden. Besökare kan klättra upp på chedi för att se skönheten i omgivande fält och Ayutthaya.

Enjoyed our Trip to Ayutthaya Temples. Started with Driver pick up 6.30am from our hotel in an air conditioned comfortable small van total group of 8. With experienced Guide we were taken to 3 sites all significant & stunning on their own. Lunch was local fair & very delicious. I recommend this excellent day out.

We were picked up right on time at our hotel and had a pleasant drive in the van with our group to Ayutthaya. The day we were there, it was unpleasantly warm and humid, but I think it was still worth it. Wear sunscreen. Lunch was great. The ruins were interesting (and sad) and our guide did a good job of explaining the history. I am glad we went with a guide so we could understand better what we were looking at. The ruins are spread out and cover a huge area and multiple sites. I wasn't sure he would, but our guide and driver stopped us right off at our hotel at the end of the tour. It was the night before Songkran, and the water festivities were already on!

Please note that while this tour includes hotel pickup within inner Bangkok areas, the standard drop-off points are MRT Sam Yot or Khaosan Road. If your hotel is located nearby, the van may be able to drop you off directly at your hotel.

I recommend this activity for the following reason: Hotel pick-up highly recommended, and although there's an end drop point, drive and guide go above and beyond by dropping at near to your hotel as possible. Though, return is in Bangkok's intense traffic, I recommend dropping yourself at the nearest MRT or BTS station. Then, each stop is allowed more than enough time to explore with freedom. If you desire more information about what you see, let the guide know, and he will provide you the history. Enjoy

Guide was very detailed in his history of everything, driver was great also. The only problem was bad information about our pickup time..when we originally booked it, time For pickup was 7.00 am. Then the last 3 emails said it was 6.00am.?we tried to get it resolved, but nobody returned our request. So, we missed breakfast and sat outside at 5.55am,.nobody showed up until 6,50..
