Canyonlands and Arches are hundreds of square miles. You could spend you whole life exploring them. We chose to do a fly over with Addison and Redtail Air. Addison is outstanding as a pilot. She was easy to hear and understand in our headsets and clearly very knowledgeable about the area and the parks. The plane is small so if you are a bit tall you might bump your head. If you are on the puffy side you will probably be squeezed. If you have a tendency to motion sickness, you might want to put on a patch or take some Dramamine. So much to see when you are in the air. The airport is also interesting given how small it is, yet it has commercial flights scheduled there. I highly recommend booking a flight with Redtail Air.
Excellent tour. Addison was a capable & knowledgeable pilot who pointed out all the top sights in the national parks. Would highly recommend!

Alvin was a great pilot! They check in with you ahead of time- they explain the process thoroughly, asking if you have questions! He explains the environmental conditions and the impact on the flight! Gave great details on the parks! Great job!
Good. At times the COM was breaking up and not able to hear parts of what pilot was saying. Worth the time and money to see the canyon lands.
This was a great way to view the Canyonland and Arches Ntl Parks. The perspective from the air differs from ground travel exposing the wide area of the parks.

Because of mobility issues, we tend to take aerial tours to see sites we can’t walk to. This tour was outstanding. Our pilot, Addison, was informative and entertaining. She not only pointed out sites, she explained how they were made (in the case of geological sites), or the story/legend behind it (in the case of historical or cultural sites.) We had done the scenic drives of Canyonlands prior to this tour and, though we saw canyons, it was the aerial tours that made us fully understand why the park was named that. We also understand why the districts of Needles and the Maze were so named. We got to see the confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers, something involving a long hike otherwise. On the whole, a very satisfying trip.

This was an amazing trip showing so much more than you can see on land. I have been to the parks several times but seeing the confluence of the Colorado and the Green river was so amazing. Canyonlands especially is hard to really fathom its beauty on the ground. We are older and not interested any hard hikes so tis trip is a must for us. Our pilot was Conner and he was very helpful.
