Magnificent We had changed our flight time 3 times in the endeavour that we might see rainbows above the Falls and were very lucky with our 12 midday flight. Best chance to see them is between 12md to 2pm. Rainbows above Victoria Falls form when sunlight refracts through the dense mist erupting from the plunging Zambezi River. The suspended water droplets act as tiny prisms that bend, separate, and reflect the light into a brilliant arc. We took way way too many rainbow photos and had to do some serious editing. They certainly added to this most wonderful experience. The flight performs figure-of-eight orbits over both the Zimbabwean and Zambian sides for excellent views of the Falls. We could see the horizontal expanse of the ledge and fall into the Batoka Girge very clearly. Thrilling. You must go
We did the 13min flight over the Vic Falls with this company and they ROCK! The people who run the place are just awesome. The service was impeccable and the helicopter ride was the best! We saw everything from high up and the views of the Falls were breathtaking 😍 🚁🌹. This Flight of Angels is highly recommended.
