Upprättad i början av det trettonde århundradet på platsen för en vikinguppgörelse, tjänade Dublin Castle i århundraden som huvudkontor för engelska, och senare brittiska, administration i Irland. I 1922, efter Irlands självständighet, överlämnades Dublin Castle till den nya irländska regeringen. Det är nu en stor regeringskomplex och en viktig turistattraktion.
Stadshuset byggdes mellan 1769 och 1779. Byggnaden tog tio år att slutföra. När de bestämde sig för att bygga stadshuset var en tävling annonserad och 62 inlagor gjordes. Vinnaren av denna tävling var Thomas Cooley, en ung arkitekt från London. Vid den tiden skulle James Gandon ha varit den främsta arkitekten i Dublin, men hans mönster kom andra i tävlingen. Thomas Cooley erbjöds också att bygga de fyra domstolarna, men vid 44 års ålder blev han sjuk och dog och därför blev James Gandon den primära arkitekten i de fyra domstolarnas byggnad.

Innan Ha'penny Bridge byggdes fanns det sju färjor, som drivs av en William Walsh, över Liffey. [2] Färjorna var i dåligt skick och Walsh informerades om att han antingen skulle fixa dem eller bygga en bro. Walsh valde det senare alternativet och beviljades rätten att extrahera en ha'penny toll från någon som korsade den i 100 år. Fabrice gave a great tour and took pictures in different settings. He was very entertaining and we got digital copies in 3-4 days. The pictures look great!

This is the 2nd time that Fab has taken photos for us. Both times we had a great experience. I don't like taking selfies so this was a good way to get great looking photos and enjoy the whole photo-taking experience. Definitely put this on your Dublin "to-do" list. My husband and I have used some of Fab's photos to make our holiday cards, Christmas ornaments, photo albums, collages. If we go back to Dublin, I would have do another photo shoot for. He's very accommodating professional, and makes the entire experience enjoyable.

Fab was great, he made my wife and I feel comfortable and helped us get some great pictures. He was also very personable and gave us a mini history lesson of Ireland. Plus the pictures turned out great.
My husband and I booked this Dublin love Story tour with Fabrice for our honeymoon trip to Dublin. I like to experience vacation with my phone mostly in my pocket and whenever we finish a trip, I always regret not taking more photos. I highly recommend booking with Fabrice to help capture memories to last a lifetime. It is well worth the money to have a professional tell you the best place to stand and the best poses instead of handing your own camera to a stranger and hoping for the best...and it's incredibly worth it to feel like an absolute star when people are trying to figure out if you are famous because you have your own private photographer.
