Thanks to our tour guide Ismail my experience in Egypt was wonderful.I suggest taking a trip and exploring the great history of the country, lots to do and see. I really enjoyed the food and historical monuments.
I planned this trip for my wife's 40th birthday and it surpassed my expectations by far. As soon as we arrived in Egypt my dream trip began a phenomenal reality. We greeted by our tour guide Ahmed in Cairo who discussed the history of Ancient Egypt as we drove around the city and different attractions. Took a flight to Aswan where we met another tour guide Ismail visited ancient temples and boarded a Nile River Cruise to Luxor. Ismail was so gracious and understanding as we took pictures at various historical sites to capture our experience but the highlight was his knowledge of Anient Egypt. I couldn't have dreamed of a better experience in Egypt for my wife's birthday, this trip was priceless.
Where do I begin.... I celebrated my 40th Birthday in Egypt with my family and it was such a captivating and exhilarating experience. Greeted by our amazing tour guide Ahmed on our arrival to Cario. We visited the Pyramids, Sphinx and Egyptian Museum. Our tour guide Ahmed was very informative, patient and even brought us snacks during our long journey. One of the highlights was dining together at the authentic Egyptian restaurant Kaber Sobhy, the food was delicious and filling. We even had leftovers, which I devoured later at the hotel. We spent 2 nights in Cario and flew to Aswan where we were graciously greeted by our tour guide Ismail!! We immediately felt welcomed. Visited the Aswan High Dam, boarded the 4 day Nile cruise and cruised on the Nile in a speed boat to the Nubian Village, where my hand was adorned with Henna. On the following days we ventured and experienced historical tours of multiple ancient temples, went on Carriage rides and even a hot air Ballon. We shopped and consumed a variety of mint teas, coffee and hibiscus drinks. The food on the cruise was favorable and tasty. I was pleasantly surprised by the crew decorating my cabin and celebrating my Birthday with cake, singing and dancing. ❤ Ismail was an absolutely amazing and accommodating tour guide. His smile lights up a room and he made our experience extremely enjoyable with his neat photography skills that captured the essence of our vacation. Our vacation ended in Hurghada, which was well worth the wait. We relaxed, ate and laughed some more. This Egyptian vacation was amazing and hands down an experience I will never forget.
