Gröna tåget är en 90 minuters trevlig och informativ guidad tur som erbjuder en möjlighet att se Nouméa stad och få en känsla av dess historia. Turen stannar vid utsiktsplatsen Ouen Toro som har en fantastisk utsikt över Stilla havet och lagunen. Våra lokala reseledare har speciella sätt att ge passagerarna kommentarer och historisk insikt om att det kommer att få dem att känna samhörighet med denna ö som aldrig förr! Tågen är öppna från tisdag till lördag, söndag och måndag och stannar vid Rocher la Voile. - Ouen Toro: Ouen Toro utsiktspunkt och en fantastisk utsikt över Stillahavslagunen.

The commentary and route were good. The driver and his coordinator were very friendly and pleasant. The not so good that made the joining less enjoyable were: - We were squeezed four adults per seat, which was very tight. - I have a MCL knee injury thus bending my knee while sitting in the squeezed position with little legroom was agonising painful. - Another person had a knee meniscus operation, all strapped up, and he was in extreme pain during the ride. - The seats were very hard and there was not a lot of space between the seats. - The ride was scheduled for departure at 10:15, but only departed at 10:25, as all seats had to be filled before departure.
Dear John, we have taken note of your feedback and would like to clarify a few points. While the train has a maximum capacity of 60 passengers, we limit sales to 50 seats to ensure everyone is seated comfortably; occasionally—and through no fault of our own—we have passengers of larger build. Regarding the 10-minute delay you mentioned, we ask for your understanding, as passengers with reduced mobility sometimes require a little extra time to board; however, no further tickets are sold after the initial count. The desk office Lyvai provides the train supervisor with the passenger count, and the driver must collect tickets and verify that everyone is present before departure. Thank you for your comments regarding the quality of our guide and staff. We hope to see you again during your next port of call. Easy to book. Show your booking at the main station then they issue you the train ticket to walk along the board walk to where the train departs. Great little train ride around the city with good tour guide.

Hard to hear the commentary but very much worth doing. We were in the back carriage. Maybe better at the front.

It was a great tour. Drove around the entire island and drove through the city. We really enjoyed it and would recommend this tour.

Open Air train was nice. Was supposed to be two 10 minutes stops, but we only had one and it was supposed to be an hour and 30 minutes and we were back in an hour 15 minutes..
Dear Theresa Thanks for the update (4 STARS) I’m glad to hear the open-air train itself was nice, but it sounds like the timing didn’t quite match what was advertised. Missing one of the stops and returning earlier than expected must have been a bit disappointing, especially if you were looking forward to the full experience. While the train ride was nice and a lot of information on the island was given, we were very disappointed that we paid for the itinerary that included two stops, one being a 10 minute stop at Anse Vata Beach that they did not stop at. They were constantly telling you about the HOHO bus stops wanting you to purchase that also. When I questioned the guide about our stop there, she was rather short in her answer that we were not stopping there and that is why she was giving us all the bus stops and that would be the way to get there.

We also regret that the promotion of the hop-on hop-off bus felt excessive and detracted from your experience.
