Vattenfallen Sendang Gile och Tiu Kelep ligger på den norra sidan av ön Lombok. Den ligger i byn Senaru, som ligger cirka två och en halv bilresa från Mataram. Båda vattenfallen kan nås inom 15 minuters promenad från varandra. Sendang Gile är uppkallad efter folkloren i Senaru, som togs från en berättelse om en prins som gömde sig bakom vattenfallet. Medan Tiu Kelep är hämtat från det lokala Sasak-språket, betyder Tiu en pool och Kelep betyder att flyga. Dessa två vattenfall kan vara dina bästa resmål för att njuta av ett uppfriskande källvatten från berget Rinjani och även de grönska skogarna omger dem. Du kan njuta av en mjuk vandring för att komma till båda vattenfallen. The trekking tour was amazing!! Our driver and guide were the best 👍. They gave very kind explanations and, especially, drove very safely!! They also listened to our requests along the way and made the whole experience even better. If I come to Indonesia again, I would definitely request them again. The trip to the Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep waterfalls was enjoyable. The provider (Soul Trip Lombok) was very responsive and helpful, immediately looking for a solution for the trip that could be adjusted to our wishes. Tiu Kelep waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever visited, with a trek that is not too far, a duration of less than 1 hour with easy terrain and beautiful scenery along the way, it really makes a pleasant trip. If you want an additional experience, try rafting on the river on the way back from Tiu Kelep, a short and easy rafting in a dark tunnel that provides a new experience and also saves energy when trekking back. This trip is highly recommended !

Hands down, these are two of the best waterfalls I’ve seen so far. I booked a guide through Soul Trip Lombok to help with the pathfinding, which I’d definitely recommend. The first part of the trek is an easy, 20-25 minute flat walk from the village along the water channel. If you’re feeling lazy (or just want to save time), you can even take a bike taxi part of the way just let your guide know! The trek to the second waterfall is where the real adventure begins. It’s another 20-30 minutes, but the path gets significantly rougher. Expect to climb over rocks and wade through the river, so be prepared to take your shoes off for this section.
