Essence of St. Lucia är ett fantastiskt arv, kulturell och kulinarisk upplevelse. Din upplevelse börjar med en naturskön bilresa till Greenwood Terrace, hem för Barefoot Holidays St. Lucia. Ta en lugn promenad med vår reseguide som guidar dig genom vår lilla gård. Här skulle du få en utbildning om alla blommor, fruktträd och örter som planterats i vår vackra trädgård. Det finns många spännande saker att se och lära sig om när man går mot vårt interna museum. Vårt museum är hem för många spännande artefakter som bär på en rik historia. Vår kunniga reseguide tar dig med på en resa från det förflutna till nuet, medan vårt team förbereder några läckra godsaker till dig, gjorda med många av frukterna som du såg på gården. Essence of St. Lucia är verkligen en autentisk St. Lucian-upplevelse som blandar det förflutna och nuet när du ser, smakar och luktar på öns smaker, samtidigt som du upptäcker, utforskar och lär dig om livet här förr i tiden. Missa inte det!

Besökare kommer att tas genom de livliga tropiska trädgårdarna, fyllda med över 300 arter av blommande växter. Den kunniga guiden får du se, röra och lukta dig igenom olika växter när du lär dig deras intressanta medicinska egenskaper och hur de används av öborna. Efteråt kan du besöka en traditionell medicinalträdgård, fylld med en mängd olika örter och kryddor, som används både i medicinska och kulinariska syften. Efter trädgårdsresan kommer besökare att föras till ett unikt minimuseum på platsen för att bevittna artefakter från St Lucias fascinerande förflutna. Slutligen kommer gästerna att behandlas på provtagningssessionen, där de får njuta av några lokala delikatesser, godis och alkoholhaltiga drycker.

Excellent tour of an estate garden. Ours was a small group, with a fabulous tour guide. We were served a delightful lunch of local dishes which were flavourful (while not overly hot for us with tender palates, LoL!)

Our Tour of a farm with guide Cion was wonderful !! He was very knowledgeable of all the trees and plants. We finished up with a wonderful food tasting that included Rum Punch and were told all the ingredients were from the small farm that we visited. The woman who served the food made it all. Lucious! The items inside were spectacular and need to be in a museum for St. Lucia. Driver, Sammy was fabulous too with funny, interesting stories. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!!!

We had such a lovely morning Greenwood Terrace. Showane "Sherwin" Williams was an excellent tour guide - and really took his time walking us through the gardens and museum space. We learned so much! Sylvia prepared a wonderful sampling of local fruits and delicacies. I love that we got to experience sight, smell, and taste all within the same tour. Thank you all for your hospitality!
