Essaouira guidad dagsutflykt från Agadir

Beskrivning

The drive between Agadir cruise port and Essaouira was 3.5 hours each way, along good roads, often with coastal views, sometimes with Atlas, camel and goat-in-tree views..! There was a very clean comfort stop there and back. Essaouira was utterly charming. The fishing harbour area was buzzing and photogenic, the western part of the medina full of beautiful arts and crafts, and the eastern part of the medina full of authentic local life - a varied and fascinating place. Lunch at El Khaima restaurant was delicious (a beef and apricot tagine with a Casablanca beer plus complimentary bread and olives, coming to around £12). Ibrahim was an excellent guide - kind, knowledgeable and professional, and a very good driver. He was always very accommodating of what I did and didn’t want to get out of my day, which ended up being a very memorable day indeed. Thanks very much Ibrahim and Agharass Tours!
The tour we did with Mohammed yesterday from Agadir to Essaouira was the best tour we have ever done without a doubt and the highlight of our holiday in Morocco. Firstly, it was very easy to book our tour and communication from the tour operator was fantastic from the day we booked until the day we went on the trip. Mohammed, our guide, was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see and do, making unscheduled stops to show us various things along the way. My friend mentioned she was keen to buy genuine argan oil and Mohammed took us to the Cooperative D'Argan Marjana where we saw the women making argan oil and were able to purchase some amazing products. He also stopped at the side of the road to allow us to take photos of the goats climbing the argan trees which was something else we had mentioned we were hoping to see while in Morocco. Before we arrived in Essaouira, he asked if we would want to eat lunch and actually called to make a reservation at Restaurant El Khaima on our behalf which was much appreciated. When we arrived in Essaouira, Mohammed took us on a guided tour to see the Sqala du Port and the fish market nearby, then took us to see the Bayt Dakira, a museum showing the history of the Jewish quarter in Essaouira. After this, we ate lunch at Restaurant El Khaima which was fantastic. My friends said the apricot beef tagine was one of the best things they had ever eaten! Mohammed then gave us an hour and a half of free time in which we went to the roof terrace of Salut Maroc for some cocktails which was again fantastic. Mohammed was extremely patient the whole day with us whenever we wanted to stop to take photos and was understanding when we were slightly late back to the agreed pickup point. On the way back to Agadir, Mohammed again made some stops to show us some really beautiful views and Taghazhout. We really appreciated how much effort Mohammed made to show us things because we were only in Morocco for 2 days and this really helped us to maximise our time there. We will definitely be returning to Agadir in future and will certainly be booking another tour with Agharass Tours.
Worth the 2-3 hour drive. Leave by 7.30am to miss the bus traffic getting out of Agadir and head north on the coastal Road. You can park on the red and white not blue pavement markings. Always stop at the marked junctions and stay within the speed limit. A police officer in Essaouira said I did not respect the stop sign. He said he would do me a favour if I paid him 100dhm rather than the 400dhm fine. I said I will pay the 400dhm, but I want a copy of the camera picture as evidence for my boss. He let me go without paying anything. Essaouira is a wonderful area to walk around I would certainly return again. Make sure you get back before dark as there is little street lighting.

Nice experience. On the way stopped to see the three climbing goats and one of the best local Argan Oil labs. Very happy with our guide Youssef. Learned a lot for Morocco now and in the past. Will visit again. Thank You.
