Upptäck Český Krumlov på ett avslappnat sätt – utan det stressiga som är typiskt för de flesta dagsturer. Res i liten grupp och njut av en heldagsresa som kombinerar en av Europas vackraste medeltida städer med en autentisk böhmisk by. Efter hotellhämtning i Prag beger vi oss till Český Krumlov. Vi börjar på toppen — bokstavligen. Efter att ha anlänt tidigt (inför de stora folkmassorna) parkerar vi ovanför staden och påbörjar en guidad promenad genom slottskomplexet (exteriörer), med vidsträckta vyer över hustaken och floden Vltavas ben när vi sakta går ner längs en kullerstensväg. Därifrån kommer vi att utforska vad som en gång var tre separata historiska städer - Latrán, Gamla stan och de judiska kvarteren. Var och en har sin egen unika atmosfär, och vi tar oss tid att njuta av allt. Det här är inte en checklistemarsch – vi rör oss i en avslappnad, lättsam takt och stannar för foton, berättelser och lokala insikter. Längs vägen kommer vi att upptäcka gömda pärlor de flesta turer hoppar över – från undangömda utsiktsplatser till charmiga hantverksbutiker och lugna hörn som känns miltals bort från det stora torget. Efter den guidade vandringen har du gott om tid att njuta av Český Krumlov i din egen takt. Oavsett om du känner för att smutta på kaffe vid floden, vandra genom dolda vägar, bläddra i lokala hantverksbutiker, ta bilder eller helt enkelt insupa atmosfären, är tiden din. Din Guide rekommenderar gärna museer, utsiktsplatser, kaféer, natursköna promenader eller lugna platser utifrån dina intressen – utan ett fast program eller rusande från plats till plats. Du är fri att utforska vad som lockar dig mest i stunden. Observera att tillgång till slottets interiörer varierar beroende på säsong. Slottstornet är öppet året runt (utom måndagar), medan andra interiörer endast är tillgängliga på guidade turer. Vi gör ett speciellt stopp i Holašovice – en liten, vackert bevarad by som är erkänd som ett UNESCO-världsarv. Vi tillbringar lite avslappnad tid här för att sträcka på benen och njuta av den lugna atmosfären på landsbygden i södra Böhmen. Din Guide introducerar byns unika layout, historia, folktraditioner och vardagsliv, och erbjuder en lugn kontrast till Český Krumlovs rörelse. If you get the chance to travel with Jana, then you are going to want to sit in the front seat with her. Jana shares her thoughts, ideas and opinions freely. As someone who came of age during the Velvet Revolution, hearing this first hand life experience is a perk of the trip that is not mentioned in the trip itinerary. If you want to see Cesky Krumlov, the travel time is unavoidable so why not meet what North Americans would refer to as a true Bohemian, as your personal travel guide? With my highest compliment, Jana reminds me of my sister in law, Avril. You’ll leave this trip feeling like you, too, just passed a pleasurable day with a close friend or family member who wants to give you the context behind the surficial details. And yes, the castle grounds and medieval village are all they are hyped to be.
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Prague. We absolutely loved the personslised service that Ondrej gave us. Our two teenagers have rated this day as their favourite of all the tours we’ve done in Europe. Thank you for such a wonderful day.
We had a very positive experience with a small tour (6) and one guide. It was a full day trip, and we had lunch in the town. The town was beautiful and the tour guide was great.
We have had a great time at Český Krumlov & Holašovice. The entire experience was great- Český Krumlov is a beautiful and enchanting town, and Holašovicehas a full of human history. Our guide was an expert historian, and we enjoyed her explanation very much. And especially, a small-group trip gave us lots of flexibility. We loved it.
I had a great time. It was not as hurried as some of the other tours I had been on previously. Jana was fantastic. She was able to share local stories everywhere we went. I particularly enjoyed visiting an original homestead before we got to Cesky Krumlov. There was a great selection of local handmade items available for purchase. The glass artist was my favorite. She had a large selection of unique glass beads that make a wonderful souvenir.
We had a great time on this tour. Cesky Krumlov is beautiful and worth the drive from Prague. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history which definitely added to the experience!
The guide was very nice and knowledgeable on a small group tour (6). English language skills were very strong. The site is worth the visit and very attractive. We also had a very pleasant lunch in Cesky Krumlov.
What an incredible day with Ondrej! The tour of Cesky Krumlov was interesting, fun (despite temps over 100°F) and personalized to our groups' interests. He knew most every shop in town and helped us find special non touristy souvenirs- the only ones I bought after 2 weeks of travel. The restaurant for lunch was delicious and could handle all my food allergies. To make things better, we started at the top of the hill, wandered down through the castle and then thru town. Ondrej went back to get the van while we had free time to so we never had to climb back up the hill in the heat. The visit to Holasovice was much more than expected. Not only did we see the town and collection of farm tools from a multi generational farm, but talking with the 85 year old that shared a bit of his life was precious. Ondrej shared insight into life in the Czech Republic that can't be found on larger group tours. It was the best day trip of the two weeks. Thank you Ondrej!
What a great little medieval town! Beautiful views and some very interesting history. This is one of the best preserved medieval towns in all of Europe and was only a couple hours South of Prague. Ondrej, our guide (also owner of the tour company) was fantastic and really made our experience one to remember. We booked a private full-day tour for our family of 4 (all adults) and we were safely driving in a mini-van with air conditioning, which was very important as the temps were 35C+ (high 90s F). I have no issues recommending this tour or Ondrej's tour company. Great times!
My father and I took a Czech Out tour to Cesky Krumlov in May 2026. I had contacted Ondrej before booking the tour to see if it would be right for my father, as he has mobility issues. Ondrej made sure to take my concerns into consideration and suggested this tour based on my available dates. He mentioned that it would be at a slower pace and therefore, suitable for my father. This small group tour was just perfect for us and it was very informative. We visited the town of Cesky Krumlov and Holasovice Village, a UNESCO site, both beautiful places! The drive was two hours long but the time passed, with conversation and camaraderie with everyone on the tour. We had a rest stop along the way so that we could stretch our legs. Our tour included lunch at a local restaurant and the food was delicious. I would definitely have booked another Czech Out tour if I had more time in Prague. However, I will be sure to recommend Czech Out tours to anyone I know who is visiting Prague in the future. I love the play on words for the name of the company, "Czech Out."
