House of Virgin Mary är platsen där Mary kan ha tillbringat sina sista dagar. Faktum är att hon kan ha kommit i området tillsammans med Saint John. Denna plats förklarades officiellt till helgedom för den romersk-katolska kyrkan 1986 och sedan dess har den blivit en populär pilgrimsfärdplats. Påven Paul VI besökte helgedomen 1967.

Vår turné inkluderar Odeon, State Agora, Prytaneion, Memmius Monument, Domatian Temple, Hercules Gate, Curetes Street, Hadrian Temple, Latriens, Celsus Library, Marble Road, Commercial Agora, Great Theather och Arcadine (Harbour Road).
Forntida lyxiga bostadsvillor, byggda enligt Hippodamian-planen där vägarna snurrar varandra i vinklar. Husen har ritningar som visar gladiatorer, karikaturer och djur och grafiti av namn på personer, dikter och kärleksförklaringarna. Besöken i Private House (så kallade bordell, 'Terrace Houses') är ett valfritt besök för en extra 25 ₺ / person och din guide bör informeras innan du kommer.
Efter lunch; vi kommer att fortsätta med besöket i Temple of Artemis; vilket är ett av de sju underverk från antiken. Här finns det goda chanser att ta bilder av St. John Church och Isa Bey-moskén också från bästa vinkel.
En gammal by på kullarna i Selcuk känd för vinproduktion med fruktsmak och traditionella hus. Det var en gång bebott av 'Rum' (bysantinska greker) som byttes ut med turkarna från det grekiska fastlandet efter fredsavtalet efter det turkiska nationella kriget.

We had a great day trip to Ephesus with Huray as our guide. She was so lovely and made the history really interesting with her detailed but easy-to-follow explanations. We also liked that she showed us some local businesses along the way, which gave us a better feel for the area and its culture. The whole tour was well organised, and Huray was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions. We’d definitely recommend this tour!

1. This is not a private tour as advertised, but a small group tour 2. It states you can organise to go to terrace houses at Ephesus, but this was not actually possible 3. The tour of Ephesus archaeological park is rushed because you get to spend a lot of time with over-priced rug, oil, sweet sellers
